Shijiazhuang Institute of Economics (formerly Hebei Institute of Geology) was founded in 1953, originally belonging to the Ministry of Land and Resources, and was restructured by the national higher education system in 2000. Verb (abbreviation of verb) laboratory construction

At present, our school has laboratories in crystallography and mineralogy, crystal optics and optical mineralogy, petrology, gem and nonmetallic material deposit science, nonmetallic material technology and chemical analysis. Shijiazhuang jewelry and jade product quality supervision and inspection station affiliated to our hospital has domestic first-class and advanced experimental equipment for precious metal jewelry and jade quality inspection, which can provide strong support for teaching. Not long ago, professional laboratories such as precious metal detection and gem processing were built. In 2003, it won a special fund project jointly established by the central and local universities to build a domestic first-class jewelry, jade and diamond grading laboratory, which has been put into use at present. Recently, jewelry technology, artificial synthesis and improvement of gems and jewelry marketing laboratories are being established. With the advancement of the specialty construction of "Materials Science and Engineering", the construction of the experimental center of materials engineering is about to start.

Laboratory construction plays an extremely important role in the teaching of engineering specialty. The college attaches great importance to the construction of laboratories, with the goal of building a series of our laboratories into bases for teaching, scientific research, technological development and foreign cooperation.

Scientific research on intransitive verbs since the ninth five-year plan

Since the Ninth Five-Year Plan, teachers in our college have undertaken more than 30 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and horizontal cooperative scientific research projects. These include:

Research on the development strategy of jewelry industry in Hebei Province, the internal characteristics of diamonds, the improvement of rubies and sapphires, the quality system construction of Shijiazhuang jewelry and jade product quality supervision and inspection station, the research on the performance of bentonite in Yangyuan, Hebei Province, the research on mineral medicine resources, the application of bentonite to ammonium bicarbonate fertilizer, the application of swelling ore in southern Hebei Province, the research on new technology of bentonite modification in Hanxing area, and the research on microbial potash compound fertilizer. Study on the structural state and geological significance of potash feldspar in Xiaosigou granite porphyry, regional geological survey of Saga, Sangsang and Jilong counties in Tibet (1:250000), regional geological survey of Xinghedian Village and Hunyuanyao in Inner Mongolia (1:50000), and regional geological survey of Wentang, Xinzhuang and Xiakou in Pingshan, Hebei Province (6544) Geochemical research of Chicheng gold mine, regional geochemical exploration of agricultural geology, platinum and palladium prospecting method, new emission spectrum technology (ICP light source), mining right asset management (second chief researcher), etc. The above are some projects that have won local and provincial awards. Professor Wang Lisheng of our college has made new achievements in the synthesis and modification of single crystal materials, and Professor Luan Wenlou has made new achievements in the research and application of inorganic nonmetals, that is, the research of pollution-free long-term fertilizers for minerals.

Seven. International cooperation and exchange

The Institute of Gem and Materials Technology has established initial contacts with universities, research institutions, academic groups, trade associations and industries in the United States, Britain, Belgium, Russia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and other countries, conducted academic discussions and information exchanges at some international conferences, and explored the contents and ways of extensive international cooperation. At present, these tasks are deepening, and there is a broader and more fruitful space for international cooperation and exchange, which needs us to explore.
