Three elements of exposure

Aperture. The larger the aperture value, the less light enters; the smaller the aperture, the smaller the blur; and vice versa.

Shutter. The larger the shutter value, the more light enters; the smaller the shutter value, the slower the value; and vice versa.

Sensitivity. The larger the ISO value, the more light enters and the poorer the picture quality; vice versa.

Focus mode

(AF) autofocus: means that the camera will start to focus automatically when the shutter is pressed halfway. When the camera locks the focus, it will stop focusing. How to move the position at this time When composing a picture, the focus is always fixed. Autofocus is best used when photographing stationary objects. Autofocus is the most time-saving and least error-prone for novice photographers.

(MF) Manual focus: refers to the focusing method that achieves clear focus by turning the lens focus ring. Manual focus in the era of digital cameras is generally used when autofocus fails, and is a powerful supplement to autofocus. Manual focus is more selective and versatile.

Autofocus

·ONE SHOT single-shot autofocus. Suitable for photographing stationary objects with high accuracy. Advantages: Mature focusing technology, simple and suitable for most shooting subjects.

·AL FOCUS artificial intelligence autofocus. Suitable for shooting objects that are stationary most of the time but may move suddenly. Advantages: Save operations

·AISERVO artificial intelligence servo autofocus. Suitable for shooting moving objects. Advantages: Convenient for shooting moving objects.

Three elements that affect depth of field

Shooting distance: The shooting distance will directly affect the range of depth of field. The closer the shooting distance is, the shallower the depth of field will be and the more obvious the background blur will be; vice versa.

Focal length: The longer the focal length, the larger the subject will be, which means that the shooting distance will be shorter, the depth of field will become shallower, and the background will be blurred; vice versa.

Aperture: We can adjust the depth of field range by adjusting the aperture size. The larger the aperture, the shallower the depth of field and the background blur; vice versa. Large aperture is suitable for shooting: portraits or still life, small aperture is suitable for shooting: landscape photos.

Metering mode

The most commonly used ones we use now are spot metering and evaluative metering. When shooting in an environment with a large contrast between light and dark, you can choose spot metering; when shooting in an environment with a small contrast between light and dark, you can choose the evaluative metering mode.

Spot metering

Select a point in the picture for metering. The area of ??the point accounts for about 3% of the picture. It is suitable for shooting pictures with large contrast between light and dark, such as backlight shooting.

Partial metering

Select a part of the screen for metering, which is suitable for shooting with large contrast between light and dark.

Evaluative metering

Divide the picture into several parts, meter each part, and take the average value as the exposure benchmark, which is suitable for shooting with small contrast between light and dark. Such as scenery photos.

Center-weighted metering

Similar to evaluative metering, but with a higher weight on the middle and smaller weight on the surrounding areas, taking into account edge brightness. Suitable for shooting environmental portraits.
