Wu's life

From 1979, he devoted nearly 30 years to flash moments, making them eternal classics in the long river of time.

He has won the Golden Award, the first highest photography award in China, and the Pioneer Cup, the second highest photography award in China, becoming the only photographer in China to win two highest awards. As one of the outstanding representatives and pioneers of the photographer team that has thrived from Xiushan Lishui, he has erected a monument in the national photography field with numerous awards at home and abroad.

He devoted himself to the cultivation and organization of Lishui photography team, and made great contributions to 1999 successfully holding the 4th China Photography Art Festival in Lishui, a mountain city, and was named as the first "hometown of photography in China" by China Photographers Association.

He is Wu, a "photographer" who is obsessed with observing the objective world, conveying the subjective world and letting his works go global. He is currently the director of China Photographers Association, the chairman of Zhejiang Photographers Association, and a member of the Standing Committee of the First and Second People's Congress of Lishui City.

In recent years, his photographic works, such as Dragon Out of the Water, Going to the Theatre and Shanwa Playing with Beads, have won prizes in competitions organized by UNESCO and Austrian Super International Photography Salon, and he has won the titles of "Top Ten Excellent Photographers in National Professional Reverse Film Photography" and "Zhejiang Model Worker", and won the highest prize of the provincial government-Lu Xun's Outstanding Achievement Award in Literature and Art.

His works have been exhibited in more than 65,438+000 countries such as the United States, Canada, Japan and Hungary, and participated in various high-standard international and domestic photography exhibitions. He once served as the judge of China's highest photography award, the Golden Award, and the touring exhibition of Austrian Super International Photography Salon.

Over the years, with an enterprising spirit, he has devoted himself to promoting Lishui's photography organization, holding photography training classes at all levels, teaching enthusiastically 150 times, caring about cultivating more than 200 photographic backbones, bringing out a high-quality photography team with thousands of people and enjoying a good reputation throughout the country, and exhibiting more than 10000 outstanding Lishui photographic works in various international and domestic film exhibitions, competitions and newspapers. For this photographer and artist who is "both virtuous and artistic", photography colleagues are used to calling him "Master Wu".

On the occasion of the opening of the 12th China International Photography Art Exhibition and the 2007 China Lishui International Photography Culture Festival in Lishui, we look back at Lishui's photography creation, starting from a black-and-white negative to today's gorgeous fireworks. As a direct participant, witness and promoter of this historical process, he said that under the great attention of the municipal party committee and municipal government, Lishui's photography will have a better tomorrow, and Lishui, the hometown of photography in China, will have a better tomorrow.
