The first step: the choice of time and location

Timing: Before, during and after the thunderstorm, the early stage is the most dangerous time when the lightning is obvious. In the middle (when the next part stops), you can also shoot lightning well (the two I shoot next are both in the middle), and then the heavy rain begins. Geographical location: the choice of location is very important, and a good location may capture unexpected effects. Generally, it is often chosen in an open position and an unobstructed environment. Never shoot indoors or outdoors in a tall building. Luck component: I personally think this is also very important. No one knows whether lightning can just appear in your picture.
