Su Shi's most Zen poems

My favorite poem. When I was young, I recited many of his poems. If Su Shi's poems are heroic music, then this most Zen poem "Watching the Tide" is more like a strong wine fermentation.

The original poem "Watching Tide"

Translation:

A small red flag fluttered in the shadow of the green hills. I am a young man from the south of the Yangtze River. Clap your hands and want to laugh at me as simple as a mountain. The audience on both sides of the strait sang the words of waves.

The sail of the Xixing Ferry rowing boat has just fallen, and the sun at the top of Yupu Mountain has not deviated. Which song should I sing to send the tide? We should also sing a poem about wine written by Chen Taishou.

Precautions:

Shan Jian: Jilun in Jin Dynasty is a good wine. The Book of Jin records that children's songs at that time ridiculed him for "going home every day, getting drunk and not knowing anything".

Wave slope: the god of waves.

Li: Tilt.

Bottom song: What song to sing? Bottom, what.

Ambassador: Sean, the governor of Hangzhou. Traveling with Sean is a Japanese author. Sean was also a famous poet at that time.

Creative background.

Su Shi said in Wutai Poetry Case: "Xining was the chief judge of Hangzhou for six years. He wrote five poems about watching the tide on August 15th and wrote them on Anji Pavilion. " His poem is Five Wonders of Watching the Tide on August 15th.

Appreciate:

In the first movie, I wrote a frolic image, free and lively. The image they began to appear in front of the audience on both sides of the strait was: "Little Red Flag in the Shadow of Bishan Mountain". The green hills in the distance are the natural background, from which the river tide surges, and the bright red flag flashes on the river. This can really be said to be a little red in the evergreen tree, which is particularly dazzling. The first sentence of the word highlights the "small red flag" with the tall "Bishan", which is a foil; Writing people-frolicking children with "little red flags" is another foil. Imagine stepping on the rough waves, holding the red flag, chopping the waves and keeping your feet on the ground, which requires superb water skills.

In the next film, the Qiantang River ebbs, and frolicking children sing "Poems of the monarch" as a song to send the tide. On the one hand, it shows the passage of time, suggesting that the water performance of the frolic has lasted for several hours; On the one hand, it is secretly written about the ebb tide of Qianjiang River, which can be clearly seen from the word "sending tide" below. Just like a play, only the scenery is revealed, and the plot in the play is kept secret for the audience to imagine. This is the poet's refined and implicit performance. Take a few words to follow the last article, and point out "sending tide". By the way, Sean, a colleague, is neither supercilious nor supercilious.

Generally speaking, it is a literary masterpiece full of Zen. With beautiful words, exquisite skills and profound thoughts, it shows the poet's thinking about life philosophy and also conveys his yearning for a better life. This poem is not only a treasure of classical literature, but also a part of the world cultural heritage, leaving a valuable spiritual wealth for future generations.
