What does HDR defect mean in SLR photography? How to reduce HDR defect Camera 60D

HDR mainly solves the problem of large light ratio.

My personal understanding of the so-called flaw is similar to that of the brother above. It should be that it cannot meet the correct exposure of high light and low light at the same time.

In fact, there are two main ways to solve the problem of large light ratio:

1 Use HDR correctly. Perform spot metering and shooting of high light and low light respectively. It is best to mount the camera on a tripod, so that you can take several photos with the same composition but different exposures, and then use HDR software on your computer to synthesize them. In this way, the processing process in photography will be more in line with the photographer's original intention, and it will be better than the so-called HDR program function that comes with some machines.

2 Use gradient filters, which is also my preferred method. First, spot meter the highlight and dark light separately, and calculate the exposure level difference between the two. Then adjust the camera to m position, use the parameters for dark light metering just now and fix it. Then according to the calculation results, select a gradient filter with an appropriate level to get both highlights and lowlights exposed correctly.

.

It’s just that most shooting themes have a subject to express. As long as the subject is exposed correctly, it will be a good photo. Some insignificant pictures can be overexposed or underexposed according to the shooting intention.
