The difference between fx and dx in photography
FX stands for full, that is, its photosensitive element area is the same as that of film, and only full lens can be used.
DX is APS-C format, and the area of photosensitive element is smaller than FX. DX lens and full lens can be used, and Nikon's conversion coefficient is about 1.5 times.
FX is superior to DX in both high sensitivity control and film quality.
