One-day tour in Kunming

1, feeding seagulls at the ridge dam

Ridge dam is a good choice to see seagulls in Kunming. The place is spacious and there are no tickets. At the turn of spring and summer, the dam is full of pink azaleas, which is very beautiful. Thousands of red-billed gulls fly here from Siberia every winter (there are no seagulls in summer).

There are many parking spaces on the ridge dam, but seagulls are full of cars on weekends during the feeding season (winter). Don't try to drive there because there are too many cars.

It's convenient to take a bus. Take bus 17 1 in Guandu District, bus 183 in Panjiawan, and transfer to bus 94 at Longmen Village Station near Mianshan parking lot. Take a taxi around 35 yuan.

There are many designated sellers of seagull special bread in Haigengba, 10 yuan. It is suggested to buy some cheap bread or biscuits in the city and take them with you. Due to years of emotional cultivation, wild seagulls dare to fly to your hand to eat bread.

Get a camera ready and take pictures at Haitang Dam with the blue sky, seagulls all over the sky and Longmen in the West Mountain as the background. No matter how bad the photography technique is, you can take good-looking photos.

Yunnan belongs to the plateau area, and the sunshine is better (especially sunny! ) Be sure to prepare sunscreen, hat and sun umbrella.

2. Xishan overlooks Kunming City.

After feeding the seagulls and blowing the sea breeze, you can take the No.94 bus directly back to Longmen Village and take the path from Longmen Village to Xishan (after getting off, ask for directions, the intersection is hidden and not obvious).

It is necessary to climb the western hills. Experience climbing the steps at an altitude of1.895m and 1000 multi-level bluestone steps. There are many scenic spots on the path coming out of Xishan in Longmen Village, which is the great love of photographers. Overlooking Kunming City and Dianchi Lake, the "Pearl of the Plateau", it is beautiful.

It usually takes half an hour to reach the top of the mountain, and there is no need to prepare drinking water and articles. There are many snack bars in the tourist service area at the top of the mountain, and the price is normal, which is similar to that at the foot of the mountain. If there are old people and children, you can choose to take the cable car, 15 yuan/person. The bus stop is at Longmen Village at the foot of the mountain, opposite the 94 bus station. It's very nice.

I recommend climbing the western hills twice. When the morning dew is not dry, the air is fresh, overlooking the sleepy Kunming city and the Dianchi Lake covered by gauze. When the sun went down, I climbed up before dawn, and the night scene was great. By the way, I will eat an authentic Kunming farm food in the farmhouse behind the mountain, take a walk in the village, find an inn to stay for one night, feel the silence and starlight in the mountain village at night, wake up in the morning with insects and birds singing, and ride down the mountain in the humid air.

Xishan has 1 1 national, provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units. Nie Er's Tomb of People's Music, Longmen Grottoes in Luohan Mountain, Huating Temple, Taihua Temple, Sanqing Pavilion, Zhang Tianxu's Tomb, Bai Xiwen's Tomb and Yang Jie's Tomb, etc. Xishan cultural relics protection units at all levels gather, all of which have high ornamental and sightseeing value, and can be called the treasure house of cultural relics in central Yunnan. Climb the mountain, don't enter the park, no tickets. Admission tickets can also be purchased on Ctrip and other websites.

To sum up the process: go to Kunming in the morning, have lunch, then take bus No.6 attached to Mianshan Bus Station, get off at Longmen Village, start climbing the western hills, stop and go along the way, take photos, marvel at the beautiful scenery of the plateau, and arrive at the farmhouse at seven o'clock. I won't go into details about food and shelter. Get up early the next morning and go down the mountain. Take bus No.94 at the foot of the mountain to feed the seagulls at the Haigeng Dam (only two stops on foot) and then take the bus back to the city.
