"All our work and work serve the content, so we must have a director's thinking to think about how to do better with technical means at the content level." Later, as a photography director in Extreme Challenge, Roy's scope of consideration expanded from a single stand to the whole team, and the overall coordination of program presentation, camera configuration, shooting mode, seat scheduling and button design was another new challenge.

"I will be more serious when I work. If I don't communicate well, it may be more fierce. After all, I can't make any mistakes in such a tense situation. Every shot is very important. " Roy said that this was something he would never allow to happen because the photos were not given.

Nowadays, "director thinking" has become the pursuit of all kinds of work. Take photography as an example, you must communicate with the director before shooting, take this knowledge with you, and consider how to make the picture more vivid and express the director's ideas. "Photography, lighting, acoustics and dancing are all the same. This is a systematic project," Roy said.

In order to carry out the director's ideas, in the process of recording Rap New Generation, Roy will first analyze the overall ideas and what he wants with the general director, and then separate the director's ideas from technical means with the heads of various jobs at the coordination meeting. "I always think that whether a program is done well or not is content-oriented. The audience will pay the bill from the perspective of the director and screenwriter, and then consider the performance of the lens, beauty and artists." In Roy's view, the director's thinking is to understand and play on the basis of respecting the master's creative design, and everything should serve the content.

I especially don't like things that follow the rules. It seems that he has always been such a person. He was not a "good student" in the traditional sense when he was in college. Teacher Liang, the head teacher, once commented on him: "At that time, he and several classmates were particularly fond of playing, but he never slacked off in his professionalism and always achieved excellent results in various competitions."

The camera was always by my side, so I walked away, calmed down and soaked in the dark room to process the photos carefully. After staying for a few days, I was very confused when I graduated from the internship. Finally, I chose to enter the TV station to polish and exercise, and I worked as a photography director from an ordinary photographer.

Roy admits that he especially doesn't like things that conform to the rules. He has never done a day's work from nine to five. Later, I began to transform into a comprehensive contract system, and I found this freshness again. So far, I haven't felt particularly bored or tired. It's quite fun.
