Rebellious little grey magpie
"Zaza, Zaza, ..." I was dozing off at three o'clock in the afternoon, and this burst of rapid birdsong woke me up from my dream.
I curiously opened the sliding door of the studio and went out to see why there were so many birds singing at the door. I saw five or six adult grey magpies, with sharp mouths and long tails, hovering back and forth in the big tree in front of the door, giving out bursts of urgent calls. I instinctively looked around the tree.
This scene can't help but remind me of a scene that was staged one morning two years ago. The same tree in front of the studio, the same group of adult grey magpies, the same rhythm in front of the door.
"Twitter, Twitter ..." I was surprised that a group of adult grey magpies circled back and forth in front of the door. Just when I wanted to drive them away, a little gray magpie appeared in front of the door, and I slowly approached it. I thought it would fly away, but when I squatted next to it and stroked the feathers on its head, this little guy actually narrowed his eyes. Maybe this little guy saw my kindness!
Just when I wanted to lift it with my hands, the adult grey magpie flew towards me with its sharp mouth open. When the daughter saw it, she shouted, "Mom, let go. Those birds are coming to peck you." I was scared out in a cold sweat and instinctively took away the hand that was about to hold up the gray sparrow. At this critical moment, when the group of adult grey magpies approached, a sharp turn came again. Maybe they were scared by the girl's cry, so I stayed where I was for a long time before I came to my senses.
Then I went to see the bird at my feet, and there was its shadow there. I turned and walked into the room with some disappointment. Just when I wanted to work, the familiar figure stood at my feet, and I looked at the girl excitedly. The girl gently pulled the sliding door skillfully, while I crouched down slowly, stroking the feathers on its head as before, and then scratching the feathers on its neck with my other hand. The scream of the adult grey magpie outside is a little scary, but when I look at this naughty little guy again, I turn a deaf ear, squint and enjoy it, pretending that it has nothing to do with the scream outside.
I can't help but feel funny. I looked up at the curious girl around me and said, "Baby, do you think birds have a rebellious period?" "It is also possible!" The girl answered hesitantly, but the look at the bird was more complicated. "Baby, who are those adult birds outside? Why is this little guy so loud and quiet? No response? " I continued.
The girl said seriously, "Those adult birds should all be their relatives, such as parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends!" " It is possible that this is a bird that just learned to fly. It always thinks it can fly and wants to go out to play by itself. But the family was not at ease, and they watched it so closely that it deliberately fell down and played hide-and-seek with them. Since it is deliberately resentful with its family, how can it care about their anxiety about finding it, and how can it care about their family's worry about it! "
My girl's words undoubtedly shocked me. I'm just kidding, but my girl can analyze this floor. I saw its calm face, and I suddenly realized that it was my girl who used her age mentality to analyze the bird's thoughts. It also implies that she has grown up, and some things should not be too tightly controlled and can be controlled by herself.
I was lost in thought about what the girl said just now, "Zaza, Zaza ……" The sudden birdsong outside the door disturbed my mind, and then I came to my senses and asked the girl, "Baby, let's send it to the tree. You see, this little guy is having a good time here, but his family is so anxious that it simply blows up the pot. " "Mom, I'll play with it for a while. You see it finally slipped out, and you certainly don't want to go back so soon. " The girl seemed to read the bird's mind and replied.
This seems to have a meaning in my ear. My girl has a feeling of being in the same boat, carefully pondering the bird's mind, as if expressing her feelings. I also comfort it from time to time, which undoubtedly touched me. I can't help feeling: yes, it's time to let go when the child is older. You can't still treat her like a child, so the child may want to escape like this bird.
The birds are still singing at the door. I have the intention to send the bird to the tree at once, but I can see the girl's pity for it, and I really can't bear to ruin this atmosphere.
After a while, I said to the maid in a deliberative tone, "honey, let's send the bird back." Look at its family calling it! " That sounds unbearable. ""well, all right! " The girl reluctantly agreed.
"Mom, the tree is so high, how can I get it up?" The girl asked me. "I have an idea. I'll climb up with a ladder first, and then you pass me the bird. " I said while holding the ladder. "Can you climb trees?" The girl looked at me in disbelief and asked. "Of course, climbing high and climbing low is your mother's strength!" I answered the girl's question with confidence.
I quickly climbed up the tree with the help of a ladder, and then asked the girl to pass me the bird. Just as I took it, it suddenly cried. In an instant, I saw the group of adult grey magpies screaming and flying towards me. In desperation, I quickly put the bird back on the tree, got down from the ladder very quickly, took a deep breath and thought: That was close!
Adult grey magpies in the tree surrounded the little grey magpie, humming and kissing, as if welcoming the little grey magpie's return.
Back in the studio, this nervous heart finally relaxed. After not working for a while, I heard that the group of adult grey magpies began to hover again and the door rang again. I subconsciously looked at the girl and said, "Baby, you said that naughty guy wouldn't slide down again, right?" "It's not impossible!" The girl walked outside and heard that I was following. Sure enough, the naughty little guy is coming in our direction along the wall. The girl and I smiled at each other.
With the last experience, I didn't stay this time, and immediately sent the naughty little guy back to the tree. The girl still comforted the bird under the tree and said, "Grey Magpie, you are too young to fly by yourself. You need the protection of your family ..."
Strangely, the little guy seemed to understand what the girl said, and then he didn't slip out willfully. I can't help but feel funny and think: maybe birds really have a rebellious period like people!
Recalling that the girl comforted the little grey magpie with the tone that adults told their children, I was really happy from the heart. The girl can think of these, which shows that the girl has really grown up. And from the attitude towards birds, it shows the kindness of the girl.
