Business Scope of Grade B Surveying and Mapping Qualification

The business scope of Grade B surveying and mapping qualification is as follows

1. Engineering survey: control survey, planning survey, topographic survey, architectural survey, municipal survey, bridge tunnel survey, mine survey, water conservancy survey, deformation and accuracy survey, and underground pipeline survey;

2. Real estate mapping: cadastral mapping, administrative boundary mapping, real estate mapping; Surveying and mapping aerial photography: drone aerial photography;

3. Geographic information system engineering: geographic information software development, geographic information data collection, geographic information data processing, geographic information system and database construction.

Units applying for surveying and mapping qualifications shall meet the following conditions:

1, with legal personality;

2, there are surveying and mapping professional and technical personnel and surveying and mapping related professional and technical personnel to adapt to the surveying and mapping activities;

3. Having technical equipment and facilities suitable for surveying and mapping activities;

4, a sound technical and quality assurance system, safety measures, information security management system and surveying and mapping results and data file management system.

Second, the surveying and mapping qualification application process

1. The unit applying for surveying and mapping qualification shall apply to the administrative department of surveying and mapping of the county and municipal people's governments and put forward preliminary examination opinions to apply for surveying and mapping qualification;

2, Surveying and mapping qualification acceptance organ shall make a decision within 5 days from the date of receiving the application materials.

3, Surveying and mapping qualification examination and approval authorities need to verify the substance of the application materials, by the Surveying and mapping qualification examination and approval authority or its entrusted subordinate surveying and mapping administrative departments to assign two or more staff to check.

4, surveying and mapping qualification examination and approval authority shall make a decision on examination and approval within 20 days from the date of accepting the application. If a decision cannot be made within 20 days, it may be extended by 10 with the approval of the leader of the surveying and mapping qualification examination and approval authority, and the applicant shall be informed of the reasons for the extension.

5. If the applicant meets the statutory requirements, the surveying and mapping qualification examination and approval authority shall make a written approval decision, publicize it to the public for 7 days, and issue the surveying and mapping qualification certificate to the applicant within 10 days from the date of making the formal approval decision.

Legal basis: According to Article 23 of the Surveying and Mapping Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the surveying and mapping administrative departments of the State Council and the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for surveying and mapping qualification examination and qualification certificate issuance according to their respective responsibilities, and the specific measures shall be formulated by the surveying and mapping administrative department of the State Council in consultation with other relevant departments of the State Council.
