What does Sony Black Card mean?

The launch of Sony's "Black Card" digital camera DSC-RX 100 is the first time Sony has shown high quality on the camera body. DSC-RX 100 is named "Black Card" camera, aiming at making it a dark horse and opening up a brand-new market.

Main advantages: The advantages of Sony's "Black Card" digital camera DSC-RX 100 are concentrated in a compact body, which realizes high-quality image and background blur comparable to SLR cameras.

1) As the flagship product of Sony Cyber-shot, Sony's "Black Card" DSC-RX 100 has a small black metal body and a rounded bezel design, which gives users a comfortable grip. Its size is101.6x58.1x35.9mm, and its weight is about 2 13g (mainframe only), so it is very convenient to carry around. The newly designed large-capacity battery NP-BX 1 can support longer shooting time. In addition, DSC-RX 100 also uses a 3.0-inch XtraFine LCD screen with about 1.23 million pixels. The LCD screen adopts TruBlack "pure black" technology, and the brightness can be adjusted in various ways, such as automatic/manual (5-speed)/sunny weather, which can effectively resist changing ambient light and achieve perfect framing.

2) Sony's "Black Card" DSC-RX 100 adopts a humanized control loop. Just rotate the control ring on the lens, you can adjust the zoom, aperture, photo effect and other parameters, and quickly feed back the parameters to the LCD screen. For high-end professional photographers, DSC-RX 100 also supports two recording formats: RAW recording format and JPEG recording format, with the photo ratios of 3: 2, 4: 3, 16: 9 and 1: 1, which better meets the needs of users for post-processing.

3) The biggest breakthrough of Sony's "Black Card" DSC-RX 100 is that Sony used the 1 inch ExmorCMOS large-size image sensor specially developed for this machine for the first time in digital cameras, realizing high sensitivity and excellent color reproduction ability. The newly designed 1 inch (13.2mmx8.8mm)ExmorCMOS has the highest effective pixel of 20.2 million in digital cameras. Its dual noise reduction and column A/D converter can also take clear and vivid photos in the case of insufficient brightness, thus achieving high sensitivity and sharp resolution. Even if the large-size photos are professionally enlarged, the picture quality is still excellent.

4) As for the lens, Sony's "Black Card" DSC-RX 100 adopts carl zeiss Vario-SonnarT* lens with large aperture and high expressive force. This lens inherits the noble lineage of carl zeiss and Sony's imaging technology, and has excellent detail expression ability while achieving a compact body. The lens structure consists of 6 groups of 7 lenses, including 4 aspheric lenses (including AA lenses), with an aperture of F 1.8-4.9 and a focal length of f(35mm conversion)10.4-37.1mm (28-100 mm). Can shoot an embarrassing background blur effect.

5) The perfect cooperation between large-size Exmor CMOS and BIONZ high-speed image processor ensures that the captured image has the characteristics of high quality and low noise, and reproduces vivid image details. Sony Black Card DSC-RX 100 has an automatic sensitivity range of ISO 125-6400, which can be extended to ISO80/ 100 to meet the requirements of high image quality. When using the multi-frame noise reduction function, the sensitivity range reaches ISO 125-25600, and with excellent optical image stabilization performance, high-quality performance can be achieved even in low illumination.
