Where is the Anaya Valley Concert Hall?

Anaya Valley Concert Hall is located in Jinshanling at the junction of Beijing and Hebei. The spectacular Valley Concert Hall imitates irregular natural rocks with concrete materials with strong plasticity and excellent durability, bearing many ideas of architects: the appearance, sound effects and response to the natural environment are all realized accordingly, and the whole creativity and architecture are reshaping the music space: being independent from the world, listening to the wind and rain, looking at the Great Wall from afar and inviting natural symphonies.

Features of Anaya Valley Concert Hall

Valley Concert Hall, a spiritual building built by Anaya, is located in Jinshanling at the junction of Beijing and Hebei, and looks like a boulder falling from the sky. The concert hall is designed as an inverted cone, and the megalithic cave contains a semi-open-air theater, an outdoor stage and an observation deck, so that music and nature can be integrated.

The architectural design of this project is presided over by Li Hu and Huang Wenjing, founding partners of Open Architecture Office, and Arup provides structural electromechanical integration design services. The building is an inverted cone with big top and small bottom, and adopts fair-faced concrete structure. The aggregate is mixed with local sand and gravel, and the minimum floor area 12m× 14m is in contact with the ground, so as to minimize the impact on the surrounding natural environment.
