Tibetan water photography works
In 2020, I have been to many rural areas in Tibet, including those on the border of the motherland, those under the 8000-meter snow mountain and those near remote lakes, all of which are as impressive as fairyland on earth and Xanadu, and five of them are my most unforgettable.
Majiang Township is located in Nimu County, Lhasa City, Tibet. After arriving at the county seat, you have to drive on rugged waterways and mountain roads 1.5 hours.
The village is about 4000 meters above sea level, surrounded by vast grasslands and stretching snow-capped mountains. In summer, it is lush and green, and it is the favorite pasture of Tibetans. Groups of cattle and sheep can be seen everywhere, playing in the water under the blue sky and white clouds, and the scenery is very moving.
Local herdsmen still live an original ecological life, wearing robes made of sheepskin, felt hats and prayer wheels in their hands. Use yak hair as a tent.
At the end of September, during the horse racing festival, every family set up black and white tents on the grassland and took horses to the grassland to compete, dressed up beautifully. The winning horse is usually rewarded handsomely. After the game, everyone went back to the tent to make a fire and cook beef and mutton, and had a good time.
Douyu Barrow Ethnic Village is located in Zi Long County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet, with an altitude of 3,200 meters. The villagers are the Barrow ethnic group, which is also known as the least populous ethnic group in China. The living conditions here are very good, and every household has lived in a beautiful Tibetan courtyard.
The village is in the canyon, surrounded by high and steep cliffs, and there is a river behind the house, which runs day and night. Barrow people live in mountains and water, so they have been hunting and fishing for a living since ancient times. In ancient times, their clothes were mostly animal fur, with hunting knives pinned to their waists and bows and arrows on their backs.
Look at the food of the Barrow people, mainly barbecue. Roast corn, potatoes and fish on the fire.
Lapu Village is located in nyalam county, Shigatse, Tibet, with an altitude of 4,500 meters. The village is on the beautiful side of Pekucuo, and you can touch the clear and cold lake water in a walk of 10 minutes.
This village is really beautiful. Under the lake cinema, it is blue, and there are snow-capped mountains in the distance that can't be seen in the mainland. It is sunny all year round. The villagers spin and weave in the village center every day, talking and laughing.
The mountain behind the village is full of boulders, and a red temple halfway up the mountain is very conspicuous, with blue sky and white clouds every day, which is very healing.
Oure Village is located in nyalam county, Shigatse, Tibet, with an altitude of 4,500 meters. It's the nearest village to Xixiabangma Peak, which is 8000 meters away. The entrance to the village is a huge stone tablet of Bangma in Xixia. Standing in front of the house, you can see the towering and steep Ma Feng in Xixia State.
Because the village is too close to the snow-capped mountains and the wind is strong in winter, the villagers don't go out much. They stayed in the house and knitted. Every day, they use cow dung to boil water, and the hot air keeps the house warm.
Nyalam area is prone to snowstorms in winter, and the snow and ice cover time is as long as five or six months. If it is serious, the house will be covered by the university, and the door can't be pushed open, so it is also a very difficult village.
However, hard work is hard work, and the villagers still live and work in peace and contentment here, because they are not only villagers, but also guardians of the frontier. Nyalam is the border between China and Nepal.
Fortunately, it is close to Xixia bangma. Every summer, many tourists from home and abroad come to climb mountains, explore and study, which also increases some extra tourism income for local villagers.
