This is a matter of light ratio.

When the light ratio is too high, you can only make some choices. Either overexpose the highlights, underexpose the dark areas, or even out the two.

Another synthesis method called HDR is more popular now. That is to say, take a few more photos from dark to bright (photos with appropriate exposure for both highlights and dark areas), and then use software to combine several photos to ensure that there are details in both highlights and dark areas.

There is no better way.
