Main attractions of Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park

Jinghu Wetland Park is located between Yuecheng, Ke Qiao and Paojiang in the downtown area of Shaoxing. On May 20, 2005, it was established as Shaoxing Jinghu National Urban Wetland Park with the approval of the Ministry of Construction, and officially opened on April 30, 2006, with a total area of 15.63 square kilometers. Wetland Park is rich in natural resources, beautiful wetland landscape, fertile soil and rich products. Dense waterways crisscross, dividing the fields in this area into countless continents. The park has a high level of biodiversity, including swamp wetland, river grass wetland and lakeside aquatic plant wetland. There are many kinds of animals and plants, especially egrets. Natural resources are accompanied by rich cultural resources.

The accumulation of long-term productive labor makes the wetland show strong agricultural cultural characteristics; There are 8 provincial and municipal cultural protection units (points) in the whole region, including Xu Xilin's former residence, Fuyang Tea Lake refuge pond, Chenjiataimen and enthusiastic school. Among them, Xu Xilin's former residence and Fuyang Chahu refuge pond are provincial-level cultural protection units, and Dongpu Ancient Town is a famous national historical and cultural town.

Jinghu Wetland Park, as a scenic spot integrating nature and culture, attracts many tourists with its beautiful environment and leisure atmosphere. The upstream line of water provides tourists with a way to enjoy the beauty of wetlands, breathe fresh air and experience a leisurely mood. Many scenic spots along the river are connected in series, which is so beautiful that tourists are dazzled both on water and on land.

Fuyang Tea Lake, located in the north of the park, is the largest natural freshwater lake in Shaoxing.

The existing area is 2.23 square kilometers. Fuyang tea lake is rich in Fuyang tea fish, which has local characteristics. There is a 3.5-kilometer-long provincial key cultural protection unit-Yutang, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. There are five stone bridges and a stone gallery road pavilion on it.

The main peak of Meishan is 79.6 meters above sea level, which is the largest mountain in the area, with lush vegetation and abundant wild interest. With Meishan as the center and Egret Reserve on the east side, a large number of egrets gather here to thrive. On the west side is Cliff Square, which is a unique landmark leisure square of Wetland Park. There are outdoor tea bars for tourists to taste tea and pedal boats for tourists to play. On the south side is another scenery, including Benjue Temple with incense and beautiful fishing area.

Meiyuan Meiyuan surrounds half of Meishan, covering an area of 164 mu, with more than 2,000 plum blossoms. Meiyuan takes "Mei" as the line, "Qu" as the axis and "Man" as the point. Through the traditional gardening techniques of China, such as wearing, penetrating, masking and reflecting, the color, fragrance, shape and rhyme of plum blossoms are fully displayed, which also adds elegance to Meishan.

The green area of wetland forest in Mei Dong is 8625 mu, so it has the reputation of "10,000 mu of green land". There are many kinds of trees, and there are typical wetland landscapes in the forest, which are beautiful and changeable, attracting a large number of egrets to gather and rest, and the rural landscapes such as woodlands, farmland and villages set each other off.

Tongxin Island Tongxin Island is a B-shaped island surrounded by water, with a total area of more than 30 mu. It is a wedding photography base based on the wetland ecological environment, with attractions such as dawn waterwheel, acacia forest, pebble creek beach, dense forest trail and lotus fragrant plank road. Tongxin Island is a natural park, with water flowing from the ground and soft ground. Tongxin Island is also a cultural park, showing the ancient waterwheel culture.

Shilihetang Fishing and Hunting Park Shilihetang Fishing and Hunting Park covers an area of more than 600 mu. It has functional blocks such as fishing and hunting in water town, lotus viewing in wetland, farm orchard and Yuexiang farm. More than 30 traditional fishing and hunting methods in Shaoxing water town have been reproduced, creating rich and diverse lotus pond scenery. Visitors can enjoy flowers in spring, eat fruits in autumn and taste original Shaoxing dishes.

Dongpu Ancient Town Dongpu Ancient Town is a famous national historical and cultural town, which formed a settlement at the end of the Eastern Jin Dynasty or the beginning of the Southern Dynasty. The ancient town of "multiple roads, multiple bridges and multiple lanes" is the best preserved ancient town in Shaoxing. There are many historical sites in the town, and the style of writing is flourishing, including Xu Xilin's former residence in the late Qing Dynasty, Zhejiang Yiyao Tea Ceremony Hall, and the enthusiastic school founded by Mr. Xu Xilin.
