This disease is often overlooked. Anyone over the age of 20 who has sore throat, foreign body sensation, neck pain, earache and headache should think of this disease and take palpation and styloid process photos. If necessary, tonsil surgery is feasible. 1. Susceptible population is more common in young adults, often unilateral, and can occur after tonsillectomy. 2. Clinical manifestations of persistent or intermittent pain in ears, pharynx and neck. A hard protrusion can be felt in the tonsil fossa. 3. Check the anteroposterior and lateral position of the neck. The X-ray photograph of mouth opening shows that the styloid process is too long (more than 2.5cm).
