How to take pictures of the moon with Canon 650d 18135! I want to give it a try during the Super Moon on the 10th!
Generally, when taking pictures of the moon, you use a 300MM or above lens to clearly take pictures of the craters on the moon. However, the focal length of the poster using 135mm is not enough to take pictures of the moon. If you definitely want to take a picture, you must pay attention to the following. A few points:
1. When using the 135mm focal length, be sure to mount a tripod and remove the UV lens.
2. Set to spot metering mode and meter the brightest part of the moon so that you can try to get the correct exposure factor. In addition, set to point focus mode, center point focus.
3. The shutter speed must be set to a high-speed shutter of more than 1/125 seconds. Because the moon and the earth rotate, the shorter the shutter time, the sharper the picture can be captured
4. It is recommended to use a small aperture (f/8-f/16) to take pictures of the full moon The image will be clearer. In addition, the ISO should be lowered as much as possible while maintaining the shutter speed to obtain the best shooting quality. Otherwise, the photos will easily appear noise.
I am posting a photo of the moon I found online with a 55-250 lens for reference only.
