What is the image control point in oblique photography and what is its function?

Photo control points are the control points directly set in the field for the need of control points encryption or mapping in photogrammetry, mainly the landmark real coordinate points established in the survey area by total station or rtk during aerial survey of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Mainly has the following functions:

Firstly, the problem of position deviation or low coordinate position accuracy of flight equipment caused by positioning or electromagnetic interference is corrected.

Second, correct the problem of excessive height difference caused by air pressure of flight equipment.

If the image control points are well arranged, it can play a very good auxiliary role in the precision modeling of the model. At present, the pricking function in M3D software can play a very good role as an image control point.
