How to play the streamer shutter of Huawei camera?

The day before yesterday, I updated an article about the use of Huawei's mobile phone native camera. Some friends still have doubts about the streamer shutter. I might as well take it out and talk about it alone today. I hope you have a better understanding of Huawei's "streamer shutter".

Streamer shutter

Streamer shutter is to shoot a large number of the same pictures in a period of time through the superposition principle (also called superposition), and then identify and keep the static background picture according to a certain algorithm, extract different parts of each picture to synthesize a dynamic effect, and present a dynamic blur, or the final picture is like a light track!

And most importantly, the whole shooting process is completed automatically. You don't need to adjust the parameters. You only need to control the shutter (shooting time), and the picture effect changes in real time on the screen. When you are satisfied with the effect, press the shutter to stop shooting.

The picture effect changes in real time on the screen.

The different algorithms here actually correspond to the four modes of streamer shutter mentioned above. Flowing water is one algorithm, while heavy traffic, light graffiti and gorgeous star tracks are another. For example, you can't shoot waterfalls during the day, which will be strongly overexposed, and no matter how long you choose the silk running mode, you can't shoot the light track effect at the tail of the car light.

During the whole exposure process of 10 second, the traffic track photographed by "Silk Flow" only shows the blurred vehicles, but does not show the light trace of vehicle movement.

So, let's look at the differences between these four modes.

1, filar silk flowing water

Silk flowing water, that is, using the "slow shutter" to blur the moving scenery and create a dynamic picture. Many people think of running water and waterfalls when they see the name running water. In fact, this model can also be applied to many scenes, such as flowing crowds and clouds.

Silk flowing water pats flowing water, creating a quiet poetry of falling leaves and flowing water.

Silk flowing water shows the effect of cloud flow very well, and the picture is full of motion.

Silk water weakens the flow of people and shoots the effect of "no one".

Take a typical flow shooting as an example, different shutter speeds (according to the shutter interval) have different effects. If you only want to shoot the silk effect like flowing water, the exposure time is 1~2s. If you want to shoot a completely mirrored water surface, you often need to expose it for more than 10s.

2. Traffic congestion

The traffic is busy, but the dark and middle tones remain unchanged, and only the moving track of highlights is recorded. Therefore, the application scope of this function is relatively narrow, and the requirements for the theme and environment are very high.

Traffic, record the trajectory of light movement.

Generally speaking, the headlights are white and the taillights are red. Headlights are much brighter than taillights. So if you shoot at commanding heights such as overpasses, you can use this difference to predict the picture and composition.
