First Hitchcock said that he was a director in Ufa, Germany (so his films often had German expressionist photography style), then he went back to Britain to make films, and then he went to Hollywood, which was his most brilliant start. Therefore, in the history of film, his main energy was put on his shooting in Hollywood.
