Moral of the sculpture with the theme of "Military Soul": The whole body of the sculpture is red, and the main body is composed of a steel gun pointing to the sky and a party flag, which means "Party Command Gun", the eternal military soul of the People's Liberation Army, and sets up spiritual coordinates for all teaching staff. Around the "Military Soul" sculpture, there are two main roads, namely Zi Xue Road and Shi Ming Road, which are like two arms. There are 24 cultural light boxes, which show outstanding students and famous teachers who go out from here in the college. On the Cultural Square, Li Duo, a military calligrapher, wrote "Educate the flag-bearer who is loyal to the Party and lead the troops who are dedicated to their mission", which shows the spiritual connotation of "military soul culture". In universities, the second classroom activity is the extension and deepening of university education. Every May Song Festival, art groups, painting and calligraphy research institutes, military bands, gongs and drums teams and other groups provoke cultural activities. In addition, historical dramas rehearsed by students majoring in history, such as Breaking Yan 'an and Spring in Zunyi, and campus DV contest initiated by students majoring in journalism, are the characteristic amateur cultural life of the student team in this college. Moreover, the college regularly organizes students to go to the frontline troops to carry out "root-seeking activities" and "talk about mission, praise achievements and learn traditions" with grassroots officers and men.

Up to 20 13, 1 1, the students of our college have organized and carried out tours of southeast coastal defense, Hexi corridor, revolutionary holy land, northeast frontier defense, Long March battlefield and blue military port, reflecting their thoughts and recording their experiences in the form of news, photography, documentary and reportage.
