How do photographers take bright, colorful but natural photos?

Photographers want to take bright and colorful photos, but they are natural. In addition to adjusting the color of photos as accurately as possible, the preventive measures taken by photographers are often the most critical and can get twice the result with half the effort.

Hood: it can prevent stray light reflected from the sky, ground or water from entering the lens, thus ensuring the brightness and saturation of the picture. So don't forget to wear a hood in front of the camera when taking pictures by the water or in the snow.

In the morning when the sun rises and the evening when the sun sets, the lighting angle is low, the light quality is soft and the color temperature is low. At this time, the scenery will have a faint orange color, which is particularly magnificent and moving. This time is just a good time to take color photos, and the colors of natural scenery will be more abundant at this time. At noon, smooth light will weaken the color of the picture, so if you want to make the picture colorful, you should try to avoid taking pictures at noon.

Underexposure will make the color of the photo look gloomy; Overexposure will fade the color of the strong light area. If you use a slight overexposure (half an aperture wider than normal exposure), you can get a gorgeous color effect of the photo.

When different colors meet, the high-purity color will be more gorgeous, and the low-purity color will be darker. Deliberately let the low-purity background scenery set off the high-purity main color to obtain a gorgeous body color; Using high-purity background scenery to set off low-purity main color can make the picture rich in color and have good effect.

The color brightness of the subject is closely related to its background, which is usually inversely proportional: the higher the background brightness, the darker the subject surface; The lower the background brightness, the brighter the color of the subject surface. Therefore, when the background of the subject is dark black, the subject will always appear brighter than the previous white background or gray background. If the exposure is slightly insufficient when shooting, you can make a contrast between the plump body and the background. It is necessary to shrink and make the photos richer; However, if the exposure is excessive, the brightness of the subject will increase, the contrast between the subject and the background will be greater, and the subject on the screen will lose its proper level and texture. Dark background has a certain light absorption effect, especially when it occupies a large area in the picture, which will make the picture very dark. At this time, the color saturation of the subject can be improved. If only white light is added to the subject, the color of the subject will become pale. The most ideal way is to add colored light to the main body, as shown in the attached figure. When the author takes pictures, he puts yellow light on the gold bars to make the main body colorful.
