Architectural Features of Guangzhou Uprising Martyrs Cemetery

Park is a typical Lingnan landscape. The lake is beautiful, shaded by trees, with winding paths, birds and flowers, and there are distinctive memorial pavilions between green grass and clear water. There is a "Blood Sacrifice Xuanyuan Pavilion" built to commemorate the martyrs who held the "execution ground wedding", with the inscription of Comrade Dong; There are "Chinese-Soviet People's Blood Friendship Pavilion" and "Chinese-Korean People's Blood Friendship Pavilion" built to commemorate the Korean and Soviet martyrs who died in the Guangzhou Uprising. The cemetery aims to build an ecological park, further strengthen environmental improvement and beautify the park. The flower exhibition hall built in 1992 covers an area of 1000 square meters. There are often exhibitions of flowers, bonsai, photography and works of art in the museum, which integrates art, popular science and sightseeing in one garden. The new scenic spot "Quzhi Garden" completed in 2003 covers an area of 3,000 square meters. The garden layout combines the characteristics of classical and modern, Chinese and western landscaping, and is equipped with a guessing wall and a ha ha mirror, which provides a good place for environmental ecological education and popular science education for young people. The cemetery also combines its own characteristics, excavates the highlights, creates the brand of "Four Seasons Flying Flowers", and enhances the landscape effect and cultural connotation of the park. Flowers with different personalities are introduced in different seasons, so that the park has unique flowers from spring to winter, such as Yutangchun in winter, Rhododendron and Dragon Boat in spring, Lotus in summer and Bauhinia in autumn, which decorate the cemetery beautifully and add new colors and vitality to this park which contains historical vicissitudes and heroic stories.
