For example, when I started Sony A7M4 some time ago, I encountered some problems, such as inconvenient disassembly of iconic shoulder straps, easy wear of camera lens, fill light, stability during shooting and so on.

When shooting indoors, I sometimes take off my shoulder strap directly because I think it is in the way, but it is not good outdoors. It's okay to hug for a while, but it will be too tired after a long time. The camera has been used for a while without bumping, but both lenses have scratches, and the paper can only cover them, but after a long time, we have to find ways to protect them; In addition, with the arrival of new cameras, the requirements for supplementary light and stability have also increased. After careful analysis, during the period of 6 18, I began to solve these problems with four tools: shoulder strap quick release tail buckle, camera rabbit cage, RGB fill light and tripod. In terms of brand, considering the advantages that a single brand can be superimposed and the industry ranking of a single category, the smog was finally chosen. Today, I will introduce these four tools to you, hoping to give some reference to friends who are ready to update their photographic equipment!

Although the shoulder strap of Sony A7M4 is not the most comfortable, for many people, the shoulder strap with the α 7Ⅳ logo can quickly stand out.

However, Sony's shoulder strap does not support quick release, and it is inconvenient to shoot indoors when the shoulder strap is long. For this reason, I chose the shoulder strap quick release tail buckle to solve it, and the brand I chose was smog.

After Sony's shoulder strap is connected with Smog's quick-release tail buckle, it is very convenient to disassemble and assemble. Pull it to lock it, push it to open it. Friends who often disassemble shoulder straps strongly recommend starting with one.

In order to better protect the camera body and install expansion accessories, I bought a rabbit cage for A7M4. There are not many brands producing rabbit cages in China, and Haze is a very good brand. Its home has a rabbit cage specially adapted to A7M4, and it is a rabbit cage in Quan Huafu, which can improve the all-round protection of the camera.

The smog rabbit cage is fixed by bottom screws and side locks, and there are many silicone gaskets inside to prevent the camera from sliding. It can be completed by using the magnetic disassembly wrench, which is very convenient.

There are six screw holes at the bottom of the rabbit cage, which can connect the tripod and the stabilizer. It is worth mentioning that the disassembly wrench is also hidden in the upper handle and the side handle to avoid the embarrassment of finding tools temporarily when shooting.

The rabbit cage has high overall package and fit, and there are many interfaces with different specifications around it. A certain height is reserved at the top, which does not affect the use of the hot shoe opening, pulsator and buttons at the top of the camera. The width of the side handle is also appropriate, and the screen is inclined horizontally, which is convenient for low-angle shooting. The upper handle is fixed with screws and double locating pins, which not only ensures stability, but also facilitates disassembly.

The rabbit cage has reserved openings for SD card slot, battery compartment and interface slot at the side and bottom, so it is not necessary to disassemble the rabbit cage at ordinary times, and the SD card and battery can be easily replaced, and various data cables can be connected externally. In particular, a buckle is designed outside the battery compartment, which gives the battery an extra layer of protection.

The one I started with is also equipped with an HDMI clamp, which can firmly fix the HDMI cable on the camera interface. Even if the camera is suspended, the cable will not fall off if it is lifted alone. Friends who often broadcast live suggest using it to fix the wire to avoid the interruption of live broadcast caused by the wire falling off in the middle.

The A7M4 equipped with the smog rabbit cage is more handy in daily shooting, and the side handle is added, which provides better stability for shooting. It can be switched between left and right hands to shoot horizontally and vertically.

The upper handle is generally used in video recording, especially at low angles. It's easier to hold it with one handle than with two hands, so I can concentrate on the shooting process.

When shooting a small space such as a desktop, you need a colorful atmosphere, and a large photographic lamp may not come in handy. At this time, you need to prepare a portable RGB fill light. I started with the smog RM75 intelligent RGB fill light. The package contains the fill light body, data cable and silicone soft light cover.

This fill light is 9.9cm long, 6.7cm wide and 1.8cm thick. In addition to the threaded hole with 1/4, it can be connected to a desktop tripod, and the four sides support magnetic attraction, which can be adsorbed on iron equipment such as refrigerators to facilitate multi-angle light distribution.

I bought a set meal, and there is also a desktop tripod in the set meal, which supports three-level lifting and is stable on the desktop.

The top adopts spherical tripod head, which is convenient for multi-angle adjustment of fill light.

This fill light has 75 beads built in, the back is made of carbon fiber, there is a small screen in the middle, and there is a pulsator, switch and Type-C interface at the top, especially the pulsator design is very convenient to switch modes and parameters.

The reason why it is intelligent RGB fill light is because it supports APP control. After SmallGoGo software is installed on the mobile phone, the functions of color temperature, color, light effect, color card, color picker and so on can be realized by binding the fill light with Bluetooth. Compared with physical keys, it has more functions and is more convenient to operate.

I often use it to shoot desktop digital products. Different colors of products highlight different styles, which is wonderful.

In addition, if you like light painting photography, you can also try it, because it is small and light, and can move quickly when shooting in a short time, which greatly improves the film yield.

Of course, if you don't use the fill light at ordinary times, the desktop tripod can also serve as a selfie stick, with good length and angle adjustment and stability.

In order to ensure the shooting quality, a tripod is essential. When I started shooting with my mobile phone, I used one or two hundred tripods, but after changing the A7M4, the camera became heavier, and the stability of the original tripod became worse. So, I bought a new tripod specially for the camera, which is also from the smog family. The model is 3935.

This model is chosen because its maximum weight is 15KG, and there are more than enough auxiliary equipment such as cameras. It is also equipped with spherical and hydraulic pan/tilt, which is a complete set of photography and video shooting.

The weight of the tripod is 1.5kg, which is only about 40cm after folding. It can be carried by hand or hand, which is convenient for daily carrying and does not occupy land.

Tripod supports two central axes, three angles and four feet, among which the angle adjustment adopts red adjustment lock design, which makes angle adjustment and folding storage convenient and quick. A branch of the tripod can be rotated and disassembled.

After disassembly, the unfolded leg clamp becomes a monopod, which can also be used as a trekking pole.

The spherical pan/tilt comes with multiple knobs and calibration standards, which can realize the double 360 rotation of the base and pan/tilt, and has three stages, which is convenient to quickly correct the horizontal and vertical angles of the tripod.

The height of this tripod after deployment is 180cm, which is not much different from that of my vertical air conditioner, with a minimum of 59cm, which is slightly higher than that of my sweeper base station, and can basically meet the daily indoor and outdoor shooting scenes.

The tripod head bottom is designed with detachable front and rear double screws, one end is 1/4 and the other end is 3/8, which can be connected with different specifications of the head and bracket. You can also use your own mobile phone stand to quickly build a live broadcast environment.

Using hydraulic pan-tilt instead of tripod can be used for video shooting. Yuntai comes with horizontal and up-and-down adjustment knobs, and the handle length is just right. There is also a magnetic wrench at the bottom of the tripod head, which is convenient for users to disassemble and assemble quickly outdoors.

With a weight of 3kg, this hydraulic pan/tilt can be easily used even if the camera is equipped with other tools. The above is the effect of my translation from left to right to triple the speed. You can see that the horizontal movement is very smooth, and there is no problem of skew and shaking.

The above is the effect that I move up and down three times faster. The damping during operation is just right, and the video I shot is very stable and smooth.

This tripod is equipped with rubber and stainless steel feet nails to meet the shooting needs of different scenes. Rubber foot nails are suitable for indoor and outdoor flat environment, while stainless steel foot nails are suitable for outdoor uneven environment, which can be firmly inserted into the soil to ensure the stability of tripod.

The above photography tools are only for attracting jade. They are very useful to me. You know, the more tools, the better. What suits you is the best. Although many tools can help shooting, they are not necessary, mainly depending on your own needs. Just as you usually have enough light in the shooting environment and don't need night shooting and light painting photography, there is no need to start with a fill light.
