How to take less "one trip here" photos when traveling?

Depending on whether you are shooting people or scenery, there is a slight difference between the two. The main problem of traveling is that there are many people and many obstacles. Most people play from morning 10 to 4 pm. At this stage, the light is very hard. If the weather is bad, such as there are many clouds, it is easy to cause the sky to explode or the ground to be underexposed, and the light is also a big problem. But through some skills, we can avoid the corresponding defects as much as possible and get satisfactory photos. Although I am just a novice photographer, I still want to share my experience with you, hoping to get the guidance of the great god and improve my shortcomings.

Composition is the basic skill of photography. Through reasonable composition, unfavorable factors such as tourists and obstructions can be avoided. Some basic composition methods have greatly improved the quality of photos. Here are some simple and operable composition methods.

1) trigonometry

Trigonometry, sometimes called Jiugongge (of course, some masters say this method is actually wrong) is actually to divide the level of scenery into three layers. This is a photo taken in Namco. Although there is nothing brilliant in the picture, it is rainy and cloudy, with a snowy mountain in the middle and Namco at the bottom. Basically, it can be seen that it is vertically divided into three layers. It's not a good photo, but at least it wasn't taken casually. Of course, if you put a person in a photo, it will give people a different feeling, and the picture will feel a little more flavor.

2) Symmetry method

Symmetry method is actually to put things with symmetrical characteristics in the picture to form a better sense of symmetry and extension. For example, this one, with the expressway as the dividing line, is symmetrical on both sides to reflect the desolation and vastness of the scene.

3) Curve method

The so-called curve method is to find the curve in the picture, such as coastline, river, highway, etc., which can adjust the proportion and artistic conception of the picture well. When looking for curves, you can also consciously arrange them by trisection or diagonal method.

Of course, there are also some advanced and cool composition methods, which are common in the arrangement and composition of characters in oil paintings and murals. Those methods are very handsome, such as Fibonacci spiral, and what a master said is dynamic symmetry.

Light is another important factor in photos. Rational use of light and contrast between light and shade is to grasp the prominent part of light on the basis of composition, such as the common Jesus light, or the contrast between big shadow and light. But composition is still the foundation.

There is another idea, sometimes more important than composition. This place doesn't need my own poor works, but the works of the masters are amazing. The work of China photographer Ho Fan is posted here.
