2. Light and composition: After learning the irradiation direction of light, the texture of light, the control of depth of field, the choice of focus and the balanced aesthetic feeling of composition! Furthermore, I highly recommend the use of backlight, so that the background of the flower itself will be brighter and darker, and the petals of the flower will feel very transparent under backlight. Therefore, it is a good choice to hit the reflector with backlight side light. When shooting too close, you can also keep your shadow from falling back on the flowers. When shooting flowers against the light, a single flower will perform much better than a cluster. Generally speaking, the focus will be on the stamens. Petals before and after stamens can also be blurred. Of course, according to the actual situation, we can also focus on the water droplets or petals on flowers, so that flowers and leaves can set off the water droplets.
Ideal composition:
(1) The screen should be clean and bright. Try to abandon flowers and branches irrelevant to the theme and concentrate on highlighting the main body. The focus of the subject should be slightly away from the center of the picture, so that the picture is stable and not rigid. Preserving the background selectively can show the ecological environment. Horizontal or vertical composition depends on your subject matter. Horizontal composition is suitable for broad expression, while vertical composition is suitable for deep expression. If you are not sure at the moment, take a picture of each.
(2) the choice of distant view, middle view and close view. The distant view composition should take the distant mountains and blue sky, and the flower fields should account for about 2/3 of the picture. Mid shot is to let the flowers in the flower field occupy the whole picture. In order to avoid the dull and monotonous picture, it can be collected in rivers, trails and other places. Close-up is a close-up of flowers, which requires beautiful flowers, no scars and bright colors.
(3) Attention to the background is also crucial. There should be no colors or bright spots in the background that will shift the center of interest. Sometimes a good floral work is wasted because of the improper choice of background. Pay attention to the contrast of light, the sensitivity of human eyes to light is very different. The proportion of shooting time should not be too large, otherwise the dark parts will be lost, the picture will be dry and lack of layering.
(4) Use of light: shoot along the light, with uniform light, bright colors, clear images, but no contrast, and flat images (light comes from the front of the subject). Backlight shooting can make an unremarkable picture have a dramatic effect. The light passes through the petals and leaves to make them transparent, so that the flowers have a circle of silhouette light, which produces a three-dimensional effect (also known as backlight, behind the flowers, opposite to the photographer). Side backlight, like backlight, gives flowers a three-dimensional sense, and is the most commonly used light in flower shooting, which is used to express the depth of the picture. Oblique light and side light also cast shadows on the polished flowers, forming a three-dimensional sense. The light in the morning and evening is yellow or blue because of the color temperature, so you can choose the light according to your own needs.
3. Shutter: (Let the wind stop) Because the shooting environment can't guarantee absolute stability, just like the wind blowing. People walking beside you will cause jitter, and the jitter and shaking of the flower itself cannot be completely avoided. So even if you use a tripod, you can still guarantee a certain shutter speed to feel at ease. If the light is not good and the shutter speed can't go up, the ISO sensitivity should be improved appropriately. However, if ISO sensitivity is too high, there will be noise. Therefore, in pursuit of image quality, the sensitivity should be controlled below 400, but attention should be paid to whether it is too fast to lead to underexposure.
4. Aperture: Macro photography generally has a shallow depth of field. If the maximum aperture is used, the focal plane is likely to be too narrow and the focal part in the picture is too small, which is not good. When shooting, the aperture should be appropriately reduced according to the situation. If the body is a full-frame camera, even if the aperture is reduced to F9, the flowers are still blurred. Of course, it is also very important to adjust the angle of the focal plane to control the position of the focal point in the picture.
5. Focal length: A macro lens with a focal length of 100mm, usually called "Baiwei", can be described as a universal lens for macro photography. The shooting distance is moderate and the blur is relatively large. If you want to shoot insects that can't get close at will, you can also choose a macro lens with a longer focal length of180 mm.
6. Pay attention to exposure compensation: exposure compensation is a very important link. Generally speaking, for light flowers such as white flowers or bright backgrounds, the exposure should be increased by+1 to 2, and for dark flowers or dark backgrounds, the exposure should be decreased by-1 to 2. For backlight or backlight measurement, it is best to use spot metering.
