He is a South African reptile amphibian, photographer, film producer and writer, and is famous for the documentary austin stevens: Most Death.

Profile:

Stevens was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 195. At the age of 12, he became interested in snakes. By the time he finished his research, he had collected exotic poisonous reptile species from all over the world.

When Stevens' mother was a girl, she lost her lung in a car accident, and then she often got sick. When Stevens was in his thirties, his mother died. His father was engaged in typewriter repair, and his grandfather, Austin James Stevens, was a pioneer of a motorcycle company from Bristol, England. He came to Africa from England by boat.

when austin stevens was 19, Stevens joined the army and became a soldier. He took part in the border war between South Africa and Angola. In the army, he is responsible for removing poisonous snakes. Stevens likes riding motorcycles and has developed the character of "going his own way". He gave up his motorcycle career because of the accident in the 1974 world motorcycle race, and then he became increasingly depressed. The animals in Transvaal Snake Park near Johannesburg ignited his passion for life. He spent six years of hard study, internship and training there and became a reptile.

After the war, the director of Transvaal Snake Park hired Austin to take care of the reptiles in the park. During his six years working in the snake garden, he received solid training and became a herpetologist. After that, he became keen on filming.

In order to raise funds and arouse public attention to the plight of African gorillas, Austin set an amazing record. He spent 17 days with the most poisonous and deadly snake in Africa. On the 96th day, a cobra bit Austin, but he persisted and finally had to be treated among the snakes. Despite his weak body, Austin finally completed the pioneering work of living with poisonous snakes for 17 days and broke the world record.
