Xiangshan Campus of China Academy of Fine Arts is located at No.352 Xiangshan Road, Zhuantang Street, Xihu District, Hangzhou.

Xiangshan Campus of China Academy of Fine Arts, located in Zhuantang Town, Hangzhou, has three teaching units, namely school of visual arts, Media Animation Institute and Basic Education Center, designed by Wang Shu. The whole campus is presented in the form of traditional "compound" in China. The wide corridors in the building, such as roadside pavilions and waterside huts, are places where you can walk and exhibit.

Xiangshan Campus of China Academy of Fine Arts, designed by Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu (amateur architecture studio), is responsible for all the work from overall planning to architectural design and landscape design. The north side of Xiangshan is the first phase of the campus project, which was designed in 200 1 and completed in 2004. It is a complex consisting of ten buildings and two covered bridges, with a building area of about 70,000 square meters. The second phase of the campus south of Xiangshan was designed in 2004 and completed in 2007. It consists of ten large buildings and two small buildings, with a construction area of nearly 80,000 square meters.

The construction period of the two phases is 14 months, and a large number of hand-built problems can only be solved on the spot, and they are repeatedly touched by countless hands. In 2007, photographer Iwan Barnes recorded the completed campus. 202 1, photographer Zhao Sai took the same scene with the original focus lens. For more than ten years, the building has its own life under the cover of green plants.
