Evaluation of Sony FE28mm F2 lens with one beat and three rounds.

In the case of ISO 100, we photographed the ISO 12233 resolution test board of various apertures of Sony FE 28mm F2 lens, and enlarged it by 100% and took screenshots to compare its center and edge.

From the picture, we can clearly see that the resolution of the central part of Sony's FE 28mm F2 lens is excellent, and the full aperture is available. Starting from F2.8, the resolution is excellent, and the best picture quality is achieved between F5.6 and F 16. Until F22, due to the diffraction phenomenon of small aperture, the image quality has slightly decreased, but it is still within the acceptable range. As far as central resolution is concerned, Sony FE 28mm F2 is almost full aperture.

In terms of edge image quality, the full aperture is slightly "fleshy", but it is still within the acceptable range. However, the image quality is obviously improved when it is reduced by two steps to F4, and the best image quality appears between F5.6 and F 16, while the image quality is slightly decreased when it is reduced to F22.

Overall, the resolution of this lens is excellent. It is very convenient to use the full aperture center. When shooting in the dark, you can use a lower ISO to take photos, so as to get cleaner and less noisy photos. This lens can get the best image quality between F4-F 16, covering almost the most commonly used aperture values, which can ensure photographers to use it with peace of mind without worrying about the degradation of image quality.

What is the image quality performance of Sony FE 28mm F2 after installing SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter? Our shooting environment is still indoors. The camera parameters are ISO 100, F 1 1, and 0.8s We take 100% enlarged images from four areas in the picture for observation.

Compared with Sony FE 28mm F2, after installing SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter, the resolution of the picture has not been greatly reduced. The Jin Yezi in Figure 2 is still clear, but the hair in Washington is slightly lower than that in FE 28mm F2, but the difference is not great. We know that the edge imaging of wide-angle lens can explain its quality, and we are surprised to find that the edge imaging quality has not decreased much after installing SEL075UWC super wide-angle converter.

In the case of ISO 100, we photographed the ISO 12233 resolution test board of various apertures of Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle conversion lens, and enlarged it by 100% and compared its center and edge with screenshots.

From the figure, we can clearly see that the resolution of the center part of Sony FE 28mm F2 is still very good after it is equipped with SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter. The resolution from F4 is very good, reaching the best picture quality between F4-F 16, and the picture quality of F22 is even better than that of Bisogni FE 28mm F2. As far as the central resolution is concerned, Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL075UWC.

After Sony FE 28mm F2 is equipped with SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter, the edge image quality is obviously degraded, F2.8-F4 has dispersion phenomenon, and the resolution is average. When it is reduced to F5.6, the image quality is obviously improved, and the best image quality appears between F8-F 16, and the image quality is slightly reduced when it is F22.

Generally speaking, after Sony FE 28mm F2 is equipped with SEL075UWC ultra-wide-angle converter, the resolution of the center of the picture is still excellent, only the dispersion and resolution of the edge are reduced, but after reducing two apertures, excellent pictures can still be obtained.

Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL057UWC fisheye converter parts:

Due to the special situation of fisheye lens, we can't shoot the ISO 12233 resolution test board for testing. We only test the indoor shooting effect here. Camera parameters are ISO 100, F 1 1, 0.8s and 100%, and magnified images are taken from four areas in the image for observation.

Compared with Sony FE 28mm F2, the picture resolution is slightly reduced after installing SEL057UWC fisheye converter. Jin Yezi in Figure 2 is still clear, but Washington's hair is not as clear as that shot by FE 28mm F2. However, in Figure 3 and Figure 4, the two edges of the fisheye lens are intercepted for key observation, and the effect is relatively good. Although the edge resolution of this lens does decrease after the SEL057UWC fish-eye converter is installed, the characters in Figure 3 can still be clearly distinguished, and the pencil in Figure 4 can also distinguish the details. It can be said that after the SEL057UWC fish-eye converter is installed, the edge of the screen has decreased, but it is still within the acceptable range, and users can rest assured.

Dark corner: shrink 1 the dark corner disappears.

Bian Xiao found that the dark angle of Sony FE 28mm F2 was obvious during the shooting, so what about its dark angle under various apertures? Let's look at the next test.

The dark angle of Sony FE 28mm F2 is very obvious in F2.0. After the first aperture is reduced to F2.8, the dark angle almost disappears, F22 has a dark angle, and the rest of the aperture files perform well, with almost no dark angle.

The dark angle test of Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter is excellent, and there is almost no obvious dark angle in the whole process. The most noteworthy thing is that no dark angle was found when the aperture F2.8 was fully opened, which is commendable. There is a slight dark corner at F22.

The dark angle test of Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL057UWC fisheye converter is also excellent. The full aperture has a slight dark angle, but it is not obvious. After F5.6, the dark corner disappears completely until F22.

Summary: Sony FE 28mm F2 will have dark angle more or less when shooting alone or using with SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter and SEL057UWC fisheye converter. However, after narrowing the first aperture, the dark angle almost disappears, which is a very good result.

Excellent distortion control of FE 28mm original lens

In the lens distortion test, the combination of Sony A7 and Sony FE 28mm F2 Quan Huafu microlens is used, and the data is processed by Imatest software later. The test result is expressed as a percentage, and the closer the value is to zero, the smaller the distortion is. The test result is negative, indicating barrel distortion and outward expansion of the picture. On the contrary, it means pincushion distortion and the picture shrinks inward.

After the built-in compensation of Sony A7 is turned on, we can see that the distortion of this lens is -0.505%, which belongs to barrel distortion, and the distortion test result is within 1%, which is very well controlled.

Similarly, after the built-in compensation of Sony A7 is turned on, we can see that the distortion value of Sony FE 28mm F2 lens combined with SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter is-1.2 1%, and the distortion test result exceeds 1%, which is obvious, but after all, it is an external lens, so the result is understandable.

Glare is well controlled and almost invisible.

On the whole, the glare of Sony FE 28mm F2 is well controlled, and the picture looks transparent and beautiful, with only a little green around the strong light and no ghost.

The glare control of Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL075UWC ultra-wide angle converter is also excellent. As can be seen from the picture, there are generally no serious ghosts and glare.

Sony FE 28mm F2+SEL057UWC fisheye converter, finally we can see that the glare of fisheye is also well controlled, but there are some dispersion phenomena at the edge, which still slightly affects the overall picture.

Dispersion: Dispersion control can still reduce the aperture and improve it obviously.

Sony FE 28mm F2 Quan Huafu micro monocle is equipped with two ed low dispersion lenses, which can improve dispersion. Let's use the following examples to analyze the actual effect.
