This is the stop where Shanshan loves life, photography, travel and food.

In ancient times, due to crustal movement and land-sea changes, there have been many transgressions and regressions in the history of the Pearl River Delta. Even thousands of years ago, most of Guangzhou was still a piece of Wang Yang. Then, after the "vicissitudes", the land gradually formed, tribes and shanzhai gradually appeared, and the history of Guangzhou's more than 2,000 years of city construction began. Even in the Song Dynasty, Guangzhou was still called the "small sea" at the gates.

Therefore, in ancient Guangzhou, in addition to many rivers and lakes, there were many "hills". Among them, there are four famous recorded "mountains" in Guangzhou: Baiyun Mountain, Yuexiu Mountain, Fanshan Mountain and Yushan Mountain. Among them, Baiyun Mountain and Yuexiu Mountain are familiar to everyone, one is 5A scenic spot and the other is 4A scenic spot. But when it comes to Fanshan and Yushan, it is estimated that not many people know it now, and the younger generation may not even have heard of it. So, where are these two mountains in Guangzhou? Does it still exist? Why don't many people know about these two mountains now?

To know the answer, we should start with the history of Guangzhou: In 2 19, Qin Shihuang, who unified the world, sent 500,000 Qin Jun to attack Lingnan after destroying six countries. In 2 14, Ren Tao and Zhao Tuo attacked Baiyue tribe, thus completing the great task of pacifying Lingnan and establishing Nanhai County in Guangzhou. After that, these Qin Jun stayed in Lingnan, and Ren Xiao built "Panyu City" on the basis of Fanshan and Yushan, which was called "Ren Xiaocheng" in history. Since then, Guangzhou has started a history of building a city for more than two thousand years.

After the death of Qin Shihuang, in the second year after Guangwu Uprising, Chen Sheng and Ren Tao died of illness. Before he died, he told Zhao Tuo to be independent. Later, after the establishment of Zhao Tuo, Nanyue continued to build cities in Fanshan and Yushan on the basis of the original noisy city, which was called "Zhao Tuo City". Now, through archaeology, Nanyue Palace site, Muzha site and shipbuilding site have been discovered one after another, which is the witness of the location of Fanshan and Yushan.

From "Renxiao City" to "Zhao Tuo City", Fan Yi and Yu Shan all built cities in this way. In ancient times, Dan Fan and Yushan were connected, and they were two prominent "hills" between rivers and lakes. Among them, Dan Fan is in the area of Zhongshan Literature Museum, Wende Road, Guangzhou, and Yushan is near Guangzhou City God Temple. These two mountains were like the barriers of Guangzhou at that time, guarding Guangzhou and guarding Guangzhou.

According to records, Miss Shanshan once walked from Nanyue Palace Museum on Zhongshan Road to Ducheng Temple, and from the former site of Wen Ming Road Fire Station to Yushan Road ... searching all the way, hoping to find some traces of Fanshan or Yushan. Finally, in the Sun Yat-sen Literature Museum in Wende North Road, Guangzhou, a place with a clear record of "Fanshan" was found, and a "Yushan Road" without traces of mountains was found near the former site of the fire station.

In 9 17 AD, Ada of the Southern Han Dynasty established the Southern Han Dynasty in Guangzhou, and on the basis of the original "Rentao City and Zhao Tuo City", he imitated Chang 'an in the Tang Dynasty to expand the capital and build a palace on a large scale. At this time, Yushan was almost razed to the ground. In order to commemorate Yushan, Guangzhou named the road into the former site of Wen Ming Road Fire Station Yushan Road.

Then behind the main building of Sun Yat-sen Literature Museum, there is a big earth slope which is obviously higher than the ground. Walking along the stone steps in the center of the earth slope to the top of the slope, you can see a white hexagonal pavilion, which is the "Fanshan Pavilion" built to commemorate Fanshan. There is an inscription beside the pavilion, which proves that this is the remnant mountain of Gufan Mountain.

At this time, the only remaining hill in Fanshan lived in a corner of downtown, surrounded by buildings much higher than this hill. Although there is a lot of traffic outside, it is rare to be quiet here. Standing here, savoring the origin of Guangzhou, you can feel how time flies.

So, have you heard of the "Four Mountains" in ancient Guangzhou? How many have you been to? There is only one hill in Fanshan, and Yushan is almost razed to the ground, leaving only Yushan Road. Do you feel pity? There is only one hill left in Fanshan now. Are you interested in watching it? For people to remember, please leave a comment.
