It is also the cultural origin of "Flowers in the Mirror" and "Journey to the West", with profound cultural heritage. If you plan to travel to Lianyungang, the following attractions are most recommended:
Liandao: Liandao, located in the north of Lianyungang, is the largest island in Jiangsu Province. Dashawan Beach on the island has the most beautiful scenery. Every year, in the summer in Lianyungang, there is a Russian-style dance performance, which is worth seeing. Walk 2 kilometers along the boardwalk to another beach in Suma Bay with fewer tourists and cleaner water. There is a 7-kilometer West Causeway on the island connected to the city. You can take Tour 1 and Tour 3 to the island.
Yuntai Mountain on the sea: Known as the four famous mountains on the sea, Yuntai Mountain on the sea is close to the seaside, high and steep. Visitors can take a sightseeing bus to the Erzhujian tourist area on the top of the mountain, which is the best place to overlook the beautiful scenery of Lianyungang. It is recommended that tourists with good physical strength walk for about an hour to the Wudao Temple halfway up the mountain, and then take a sightseeing bus up. Along the way, there are planks, springs and waterfalls, and beautiful scenery.
Wanyu Scenic Area: Wanyu is located at the southern foot of Yuntai Mountain. It has been a shelter for fishermen since ancient times, hence its name. The scenic area is composed of cliffs and strange rocks, with endless waterfalls, streams, and pools throughout the four seasons. It is called Zhangjiajie, Jiangsu Province. It is recommended that you have the best time on rainy days when there is plenty of water or during heavy rains.
Huaguo Mountain: Huaguo Mountain, the highest peak in Jiangsu, is the landmark of Lianyungang. Lianyungang two days and one night travel guide, is there any detailed guide?
This is basically all I have for three days and two nights, lazy travel and leisure.
July 17-July 19, 2021, 3-day tour to Lianyungang. As a foreigner, my biggest worry when traveling to a place is whether I will be ripped off and whether I will have a good time. In the current social situation, thanks to the rapid development of electronic payments, Meituan and Dianping can basically clear some of the limelight. As for cost-effectiveness, that's on another level. If you play well, the price is right. If it's cheap, you may experience some discounts, which is expected.
Lianyungang is a beautiful coastal city. After five hours of driving, we finally arrived at the terminal of Lianhuo Expressway. Because it's already past five o'clock. Bell, it runs towards the locals who often go to the beach. After parking the car, they walked straight down. Fortunately, they had a look at the bay and caught the sea breeze. The children were very happy and went straight to catch crabs. The seaside is a free beach, located at Lianyungang Port and the entrance to Liandao. On the other side of the sea is a beach with the character of a large park. Five o'clock. At five o'clock in the afternoon, many people came out, but many people also went in. The front of the beach is a lot of black mud. It was a bit surprising to see black mud instead of the usual sandy beach, but black mud has the benefit of black mud, which can retain shrimps, crabs and small fish. The black mud is about half a meter thick, and when you step in, it's half a leg's worth of mud. It's really dark. There were also bottles, jars, rocks and other foreign objects inside. If you don't handle it, it will get scratches and scrapes. I accidentally got it stuck in, and when I pulled it out, blood came out from my feet. Overall, as a free park by the sea, it's easy to understand. Children also love catching these shrimps, crabs and small fish. There are many of these little guys, hiding in holes in the water or over mire. Just stare at them for a few minutes and there's nothing these little guys can do. So it's easy to catch them. We caught a dozen crabs and small fish and played for about a while. While the kids were playing, I started looking for a place to stay for the night. Now that the Internet is really developed, you still need to book a hotel as early as possible.
On the beach of Haiyifang Park
July should be the peak season in Lianyungang. At this time, many children are on vacation.
Parents who have the conditions want to take their children out to play and learn more. Correspondingly, hotels will also start to increase prices. I'm mentally prepared for this. It's still the weekend, so it shouldn't be cheap. Once I had a plan in place, I started searching for a group. After comprehensive comparison, I finally chose the Seaview Sunrise Holiday Hotel, with a price of around 185. The name sounds very reminiscent of the fact that it is located on Liandao Island. I heard that it is very close to Dashawan Beach and you can watch the sunrise. There are many places to eat around, and the most important thing is that the Internet rating is 5.0.
Drove to the island and started looking for this hotel. Navigation is over. Unfortunately I couldn't find it so I called. Fortunately, the waiter came out to pick us up quickly. We parked the car in the parking lot on the west side of the hotel, picked up our luggage and went there. The parking fee is 20 yuan, which is enough for 24 hours. The waiters were very welcoming. He helped us with our things and helped old and young people. Entering the lobby, I felt that the wine in this hotel was a bit old. After entering the room, I felt that the housing facilities were not very comfortable. They were mainly damp and a bit old, and I didn't find them unpleasant. Let's just say it's okay. This may be due to personal experience, and different expectations lead to different experiences. They only state their own experiences and do not represent the opinions of the public.
After setting things up for dinner, I went to the hotel for a walk. There are basically similar hotels around, relying on the architecture on the island, and then I opened a hotel. The house is basically neither new nor old. There are snack bars and seafood restaurants below, many of which are very lively and make people feel like they are in a busy city. It's not bad. After traveling, I went to a place near the sea in the east. There is a large platform overlooking the sea, and I can vaguely see the sea. I heard it was a beach music festival. There is a barbecue stall and a seafood restaurant on the platform. The kids were hungry so they decided to have their first meal here. The sea breeze is blowing and music is listening. Very enjoyable.
When ordering, the boss recommended a seafood stew, so I ordered it. He also ordered a portion of rice, a portion of vegetables and a portion of soup, I can't remember. Then, he ordered a few skewers of grilled squid tentacles, squid slices, etc. The barbecue stall next to it, and then wait for the food to be served. During the festival, the music business is huge, the lights are dazzling, the sea breeze is pleasant, and everything is beautiful.
The food came out quickly, and the large seafood platter was good. There are sea crabs and shrimps. I haven’t eaten the salt and pepper crab yet, but I usually eat it stir-fried or steamed. This time, it was really eye-opening. The salt and pepper shrimps also taste great and are very enjoyable to eat. After the grilled squid from the barbecue stall next to it was served, I was full of praise. All in all, tonight's meal was quite good and the price is basically within your budget. I don't know the seaside.
Dashawan Beach Music Festival
Go back to bed early in the evening. Actually, I don’t go to bed until 11 o’clock. clock. Set the alarm for 4:30 in the morning. The hotel owner said that sunrise starts at 4:30. The best observation deck is on the fourth floor platform of this hotel. After being woken up by the alarm clock in the morning, I fell asleep again. When I woke up, it was already 5 o'clock, and I didn't wash my face. I ran out quickly. Fortunately, when we arrived at the platform, the red sun showed its head. Looks like it's not too late yet.
The sunrise comes very quickly, about 2 minutes. I guess the sunrise I saw was not an authentic sunrise in the eyes of professionals. Sunrise should be based on sea level, not cloud cover. I got up half an hour late to watch the sunrise, which is probably the current distance from the sun to the sea level. Is that so? I guess it should be left to my next sunrise verification trip. Is it okay to keep an egg and live on?
There is no breakfast in the hotel in the morning, but steamed buns and porridge are available on the roadside. After eating a little bit, the kids were still sleeping until about 9 o'clock. clock, and then check out after washing. Today, I decided to go to the beach in Dashawan. In fact, when I go out to play, the happiest things for the children are playing in the sand and swimming. So it takes about seven or eight minutes to go to Dashawan Scenic Area via a small road, which is quite rugged. In fact, the straight-line distance from where we live to the beach is less than 150m, but we need to take a detour of about 700m or go up and downhill. This kind of design is very impersonal. All people, old and young, are walking around on the path, especially the elderly and children. It is very inconvenient. If you think of something, Lianyungang Scenic Area definitely has a way to solve this non-problem, as shown in the picture:
We stayed in the Seaview Resort Center, and there are many similar hotels around it. 154 meters from the beach. The beach was covered with railings and barbed wire, so we could Idon’t be upset at all. Then we need to go up to the Crowne Plaza Center, and then go down to the main road to reach the entrance of the scenic spot, a total of 687 meters. Let's not talk about the seriousness of the road. Welcome to experience tourism. Anyway, I'm sure it's fine for the elderly and children. If I heard that it takes nearly an hour to take a detour, is this the time?
Disha Bay and Suma Bay are legendary attractions connecting the islands. Tickets start at 50 yuan, and tickets are free for those under 1.4 meters tall. It is said that these two beaches have their own characteristics. Dashawan is crowded with people, but Sumawan has few beauties. There is a battery car ferry in the middle, which costs 25 yuan each. I originally planned to spend half a day in Dashawan and half a day in Suma Bay, but the plan couldn’t keep up with the changes. The kids played all day long, so we only played at Dashawan, a beach.
This leads to the things that made me very unhappy this time. It's really not nitpicking. The probability that I will go to Lianyungang Dashawan Scenic Area again in this life is very low, but I still hope that the scenic spot can change.
After all, there are a lot of people, and there must be many tourists who have this need. It is unreasonable that such a small thing has affected the image of Lianyungang. Here's what happened:
It's let's go on a road trip. Before going to the beach, we let all the air out of the swim ring. After all, we can take up less space after long journeys. I wonder if there is a place to inflate swimming rings when going to seaside attractions? So I went to the scenic spot with peace of mind. When I passed the gate to buy a ticket, I asked specifically, and the answer I got was that the swimming ring can be inflated inside. So I went in with peace of mind. As soon as I entered, I saw a shop located at position C inside the scenic spot. I just watched the store attendant inflate the life preservers one by one. I thought, I'm so lucky, so I leaned over and said inflate my life preserver. If I don't provide free services, you can pay me. As a result, the clerk said something to me. I can't inflate it here, so I have to buy an inflatable tube or a life preserver. As soon as I heard that TM became popular, I was forced to go down and occupied the best C position in the scenic spot. How can I show my respect for doing such a dishonorable thing?
This awesome business is called Li Anyun Gift Package, and it really gave me a big gift package. I don't know if this is a business or an attraction. In any case, this is located in the C position of the scenic spot and is dazzling. Friends who have been to Liandao Dashawan should know this. This is the first hit, but it’s not thorough. I can only calculate in my mind that I have encountered a business with no moral pedigree. I endured it and kept walking. I heard from the staff at the door that it can be inflated. Maybe I'm in the wrong place.
Looking around, the children are eager to swim in the sea. They can do without lifebuoys and do not go into the sea. They are all landlubbers, so they said to the children, go play in the sand first and I will be back soon. So facing the sign below, I started my inflatable journey.
First of all, the merchandise department excluded, that is, the store. People who have the equipment, time, tools, and skills just don’t want to charge, and neither do they. Don't charge it. Then it’s only possible to have $9.9 postage machines in swimming pools and storage rooms, so that’s over. The answer we each got was that we could not charge. I I ask again? In such a large scenic spot, basically everyone needs to bring a lifebuoy. Can you not take a breath? The staff I met this time said it was ok Idon’t be able to fill it up, but there was no place to fill it up. I I go. I told you I couldn't. Don't charge, so I won't. You don't have to work so hard. There are so many merchants at the door, so you should be able to top up with money. If you can avoid going to this place, you can only buy a life preserver.
Finally, we went out to the scenic spot and spent 5 yuan to inflate it at a shop at the door. Basically, anyone who sells lifebuoys can inflate them. It depends on whether people want to imitate Lei Feng or whether they want to make such inflated money. But in such a large Dashawan Scenic Area, am I the only one who has encountered this problem for so many years? I found an inflatable place in the scenic area and experienced a life that is not taken for granted but full of dreams. What is past is past. A small hiccup during the visit that was not very pleasant but irrelevant to the bigger picture. My suggestion to the staff at the entrance of Dashawan Scenic Area is to buy an inflatable tube and place it in a conspicuous place in the scenic area to facilitate people who come here in the future. The price of inflatable tubes is very cheap, even the 9.9 packs available on Tmall. If you buy 10 tickets, which is the admission fee for two people, the praise you will get will definitely be a hundred times or a thousand times more than the money. There are many volunteers in the scenic area, all wearing red vests. I believe they are all young friends with great ideas. Among them, I also told the red vest volunteers at Nanjing Normal University in person. I hope that friends who go to Dashawan, Dalian Island, Lianyungang in the future will have inflatable tubes, just to record my true feelings and experiences.
The beautiful scenery of Dashawan Beach
Good times are always short, but unpleasant memories are always long. Lala said so many unhappy things, but the scenery of the island is still worth admiring. It was a beautiful morning, the children were playing happily on the beautiful beach, and time passed quickly, almost one afternoon. The children had been basking in the sun all morning, and the adults were shaded under umbrellas. For the sake of my child's health, I decided to go back after playing for another hour at most. By the way, it said that it takes one hour to walk from Dashawan to Suma Bay, with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. You can go on cloudy days. Forget it, it costs 25 yuan for a battery car. I don't I don't know if it's this round trip.
Standard procedures. Let's book a hotel for the night. After the unsuccessful ticket booking experience last time, I will choose the hotel I will stay in this time. There are always many express hotels in China. This time, Hanting Hotel was my first choice, followed by hotel chains owned by China. Finally, I chose Elan Hotel (near Liandao), which is not too far from here and is convenient for eating nearby. The price is around 140, which is basically in line with my psychological expectations. About four o'clock. At five o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the Elan Hotel we had booked. Because I have stayed at this brand of chain hotels before, and it basically met my expectations. The comfort inside is not as good as a star hotel, but it can fully meet the children's requirements for taking a bath and watching TV. After resting for a while, it was time for dinner. As usual, I opened a group and found that there were many restaurants around, mostly seafood restaurants. Only then did I realize that I was at the beach, haha, there was nothing else.
The direct result is that the meal at night is quite satisfying.
There is a 16-year-old Dongsheng Seafood Hotel near the hotel where I stayed. I went into a private room and ordered a 168 yuan set meal, which included fish, shrimp, shells, squid, vegetables, rice, and abalone. Finally, I ordered 10 garlic scallops, which cost two yuan each. Haha, it feels so cheap and tastes great. Finally ordered 10 garlic scallops. It's a shame we don't. Not taking pictures, just devouring it. We had meals for three adults and three kids, but we didn't. I ended up not finishing it, and the amount we gave was not small.
The third day’s itinerary is Guohua, the children’s favorite place because there is the legendary Sun Wukong there. Guohuashan is not too far from the city. It takes thirty or forty minutes to drive to the parking lot of Guo Huashan, and then buy a ticket to go up the mountain. In the evening, I found out on the Internet that pigs and monkeys are free. I was secretly glad that I saved 100 yuan. However, it was a waste of fun and the event was over. Damn it, my brother and my second brother seem to be able to enter their hometown without spending money. The limit for children is still 1.4 meters. My child happens to be between 1.39 meters and 1.41 meters tall, so I bought a half ticket and went in without any trouble at all. The price seems to be 90 yuan. After he entered, he took the bus inside, which cost 25 yuan and drove all the way to Shuiliandong.
The following process is to climb the mountain, see the Water Curtain Cave, enter the Water Curtain Cave three times, and then climb the mountain again to go straight to Yunu Mountain, the highest peak in Jiangsu. Here, it is best to take a bus for the first half of the journey, because the road is not very good and there are many cars. It may be better after passing Shuiliandong. There are wild monkeys on the mountain and it's great to watch the monkeys when it's okay, especially for kids.
Water is the basic landscape of Guohua mountain tourism. Basically, the first half is self-driving, and in the second half, you can achieve the initial tourist effect by climbing 1 kilometer up the mountain. Of course, those who are physically able can go all the way. In the middle, there are monkeys in the front and back mountain views of Huangyu Pavilion. The monkey is not small and it looks funny. Children like this section the most, and monkeys who buy monkey food usually won’t refuse to eat it. Every day I feel like this place is full of monkeys. If I win, I won’t be hungry every day. I feel like there is someone on the roadside. Descendants of Sun America are very lucky to live in an era where they don't have to worry about food and drink. There are many large and small monkeys, lazily moving around, staring at people, looking up at the sky, squatting on the roadside and eating monkeys, which is the most lovable. But the child should be careful not to make him angry, otherwise he will be angry too.
Monkeys on the roadside
Go to the top of Yunv Mountain, climb the mountain and have a distant view, then prepare to go down the mountain, buy a ticket, go to the parking lot of Yunv Mountain, and quickly come down, ending the trip to Guo Hua. Generally speaking, it was ok, but it wasn't an amazing and well-managed climbing trip.
After the three-day trip, I drove back and felt that Lianyungang is a very good city. I think I like it very much, the locals live comfortably. It's not as fast-paced as Shanghai and Suzhou, but it feels just right. Thanks for this trip, although there were some hiccups, overall I can give it 90 points. I hope next time I go, I will win. It would be even more perfect if I could find a place to inflate the lifebuoy while I was sweating. Overall, I hope.
The cost of a self-driving tour for 3 adults and 3 children is about 2,800 yuan.
