Do I need to declare my camera abroad? How to report it?

If the unit price of the camera does not exceed 5000 yuan, it is not needed; If it exceeds, it needs to be declared.

Ask the staff for the declaration form at the airport, fill it out completely and hand it over to the customs staff.

China's Customs stipulates that the following situations must be declared:

(1) Carrying the second, third and fourth categories of articles (except tobacco and alcohol within the duty-free limit) that need to be taxed or exempted by the customs in the Classification Table of Inbound and Outbound Luggage Articles for Passengers;

(2) Non-resident passengers and resident passengers with re-entry visas carry cameras, portable tape recorders, small cameras, portable video cameras and portable word processors for their own use; (3) Carrying more than 6,000 RMB in cash, or more than 50 grams of gold, silver and its products;

(6) Carrying goods, samples and articles other than passengers' personal luggage;

(seven) carrying animals, plants and their products controlled by China quarantine regulations and other items that need to go through the formalities of inspection and release.

Article 9 The following outbound passengers shall declare to the customs, and submit declaration documents to the customs to go through the exit formalities of articles:

(1) Carrying personal travel articles such as cameras, portable tape recorders, small cameras, portable video cameras and portable word processors;

(2) Failing to take out the original articles that should be taken out of the country again, or failing to go through the customs formalities for the temporary duty-free articles brought into the country;

(3) Carrying foreign currency, gold, silver and its products without obtaining the relevant exit permit certificate or exceeding the quantity declared for entry this time;

(four) carrying more than 6000 yuan in cash;

(5) Persons carrying cultural relics;

(6) Carrying goods or samples;

(7) Carrying articles out of the country beyond the limits set by the customs, quotas or other restrictive conditions;

(eight) carrying animals and plants and their products controlled by China quarantine regulations, and other items that need to go through the formalities of inspection and release.

Articles prohibited from leaving the country

1. All items included in the prohibited entry scope;

2 manuscripts, printed matter, films, photographs, records, films, audio tapes, video tapes, laser discs, computer storage media and other articles involving state secrets;

3. Precious cultural relics and other cultural relics prohibited from leaving the country; Four, endangered and precious animals and plants (including specimens) and their seeds and propagation materials.
