Tian Yu's character introduction

Tian Yu, born in Tangshan City, Hebei Province in 1961, is a contemporary ink painter. At present, he is a senior artist of the Joint Service Department of Beijing Military Region, vice chairman of Beijing Shijingshan Artists Association, special painter of China Great Wall Painting and Calligraphy Institute, academician of Beijing Palace Painting and Calligraphy Institute and vice president of China Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. Graduated from Beijing Film Academy, majoring in photo photography, and studied art creation and theory in Beijing Painting Academy from 1991 to 1993. He studied under Feng Guangpu, Wang Wenfang, Yang Deshu and other masters, and was good at landscapes, flowers, birds and illustrations. His paintings have a wide range of forms and strong compatibility, and his multi-directional and multi-angle artistic practice shows the unique style and visual charm of his works. Representative works: Yan Shanxue Ji, Magnificent Langya Mountain, Lotus Wind in Prosperity, My Post and My Home, etc. On the basis of sketching, the work Magnificent Langya Mountain fully embodies the magnificent posture of Langya Mountain at the foot of Taihang Mountain by using ancient calligraphy and modern ink painting.

In recent years, more than 1 works have been selected for painting and calligraphy exhibitions at home and abroad and won prizes.
