Medical terminology of CR

CR (computer radiography) can be translated into computer radiography or digital radiography. The digitalization of CR is to replace the film and intensifying screen with a repeatable imaging board (IP board). After exposure, a latent image is generated on the IP board. Put IP board into CR scanner, scan IP board with laser beam, read information, and generate digital image after A/D conversion.

Cr, Mr, CT, DR, DSA and X-ray are all kinds of medical imaging diagnosis. MRI is a magnetic resonance imaging examination, which can obtain images of cross-section, sagittal plane and coronal plane. Good spatial resolution. CT is a kind of X-ray diagnostic equipment, and it is also a complicated X-ray equipment, which can obtain tomographic images. Compared with MRI, it is characterized by high density resolution. CR, DR and X-ray diagnosis, like CT, all complete images through X-rays. The difference is that CR and DR are more advanced than ordinary X-ray machines in image acquisition. CR is an IP board, DR is more advanced, and the digital information is directly transmitted to the image workstation through the flat panel detector. Simply put, there is no obvious difference in their diagnostic range.
