Anhui Art Vocational College is a provincial full-time comprehensive art college with a long history. Anhui Art School was founded in 1956. 1996 Anhui Art School and Anhui University jointly established Anhui University Art College, and began to recruit undergraduate and junior college students. In June, 2003, with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government, Anhui Film Academy merged and established Anhui Art Vocational College. Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the college has shouldered the heavy responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward excellent culture and art and cultivating art professionals.
