Zheng Xiaojing, female, born in 1958, is a doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, vice president of Lanzhou University, dean of graduate school of Lanzhou University, and director of Institute of Engineering Mechanics of College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics of Lanzhou University. Lanzhou University is the first winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the Cross-century Talents Fund of the Ministry of Education. He is also a member of Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education, director of China theoretical and applied mechanics Society, member of solid mechanics professional committee of China theoretical and applied mechanics Society, chairman of Gansu Mechanics Society, member of youth work department of National Committee of China Association for Science and Technology, and editor-in-chief of Journal of Mechanics, Journal of Solid Mechanics and Journal of Applied Mechanics.

The research work on the exact solution, approximate analytical solution and convergence proof of Carmen equation of circular thin plate was evaluated by theoretical and applied mechanics Institution of China as "the most complete research in this field in the past 50 years, and it is in a leading position at home and abroad"; It pioneered the theoretical and applied research of electromagnetic solid mechanics in China and achieved remarkable results.

Professor Zheng Xiaojing has published more than 70 papers included in SCI (total papers 170) and 2 academic monographs, and has been reviewing manuscripts for international academic journals for many times; The monograph "Theory and Application of Large Deflection of Circular Thin Plate" won the second prize of the 6th National Excellent Science and Technology Book, three research projects won the second prize of provincial (ministerial) level scientific and technological progress, and 1 item won the third prize of provincial (ministerial) level scientific and technological progress. He has presided over the completion of 8 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and the University Doctoral Program Fund. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of electromagnetic solid mechanics and the law and influence of sandstorm electric field, and presided over the first-class project of the National Key Basic Research and Development Plan (referred to as "973") and the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation. In 2005, the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation "Some Basic Mechanical Problems in the Study of Wind-blown Sand Movement" was approved.
