Do "af-p", "af-c" and "af-s" refer to three different lenses?

"AF-P" is a name in nikkor lens, and "AF-C" is an autofocus method called "continuous autofocus". "AF-S" is not only a name of nikkor lens, but also an autofocus method called "single autofocus".

It's an autofocus method. Afs is a single focus, that is, half-pressing the shutter, focusing once and then not moving. Afc is continuous focusing, and the shutter is half pressed. As long as the camera position changes slightly, it will resume focusing, and the focusing position is always clear. Afp should be unique to your camera, and it is probably an automatic selection program. There are only two ways.

In fact, no matter what camera you use, what brand of lens, shooting principle and usage habits are not much different. In photography, you will see many old movie friends wearing small vests, hats and tripods, all sprinting with long guns. Many people are trying to put on a show. I think it's a bit of a storm in a teacup. Let's talk about the selection and use of camera lens focal length. Regarding the shooting of scenery, first of all, it is suggested that photographers directly start with full-frame cameras. If you have economic conditions, then I suggest you also consider a medium format camera or even a large format camera. Of course, the so-called pan/tilt, wide-angle and telephoto ranges are different for different camera formats! Take, for example, the full-frame camera and the residual-frame camera that we often use. Generally, we will choose a relatively wide lens when shooting landscapes, which is commonly known as a wide-angle lens. It is generally recommended to be around 24 mm to 28 mm. It is not recommended to use a lens that is too wide, which will distort the picture! Portrait shooting, many photographers in the studio will use 85 mm lens.

AF-S lens is a self-contained SWM ultrasonic focusing motor, which is a leap forward of AF lens without mirror body motor, and may be slightly inferior to C-door used in USM technology.

AF-P is a new lens with stepping motor. It is said that it is faster to mute for the convenience of video and live view autofocus. This kind of motor was first used in AF-P 18-55 and 18-55VR, which should be the degradation of AF-S lens. I am a Canon user, and I think AF-S is similar to Canon USM lens, fast and quiet. Moreover, AF-P is similar to Canon STM, focusing quietly and not as fast as USM.
