A tree in Ruili has become a scenic spot, attracting more than ten films to take pictures.

This was originally just a banyan tree. After more than 900 years of ups and downs, it has developed into a forest, that is, "a single tree becomes a forest, and a single tree becomes a forest." It is located next to Manzhangzhai in the border trade zone of Rhoda Town, 3.5 kilometers south of Rhoda Town Government, and close to the China-Myanmar border. This is a very distinctive place.

Looking from a distance on National Highway 320, it is a lush grove. In addition to the trunk, the big banyan tree also gives birth to many root-cutting columns buried underground, and the roots of the columns become another tree, forming a spectacular scene of trees growing and rooting. There are many aerial roots in the middle of the trunk of the tree, which come down from the tree, intertwine and coil around the roots. On the left and right main branches, there are 32 aerial roots of different sizes vertically downward, which plunge into the soil to form a cluster of column roots, creating a forest landscape with many branches.

More than a dozen films, such as Beacon in Border Village, Princess Peacock, Handcuffed Passengers and The Journey to the West, have been filmed here. The reason why this banyan tree grows like this is because Ruili regards the banyan tree as a sacred tree, and only plants it without cutting it down, whether it is planted between mountains and dams, between villages, on the roadside, or whether it is single or connected.

There is also a long bodhi tree in the scenic spot. Bodhi is an evergreen tree of Moraceae, with a height of 15m and a diameter of 2m. The trunk is uneven, the leaves are heart-shaped, the front end suddenly becomes slender and tail-shaped, the branches and leaves are lush, the crown is graceful, the crown is wide, vibrant and green. There was no Bodhi Tree in China, which was introduced with the introduction of Buddhism into China.

In addition, there are well-known landscapes such as boundary markers and Buddhist temples, as well as male and female statues of the Dai and Jingpo nationalities, performances of ethnic minorities such as Daoshan, battery cars in scenic spots, and tickets for each person in 20 yuan. However, the scenic spots are not big, so it is better to swim slowly and see the scenery of the tropical rain forest along the way.

In order to protect and make full use of this natural scenic spot, a single-tree forest park has been established here. In addition to special personnel to guard the forest, there are also some corresponding entertainment and shopping services in the park. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the forest and take photos as a souvenir, or ride an elephant for fun, or buy jewelry and jade.
