2. The best time to go to the Grassland Road

Courage Road is located at the junction of Zhangbei County and Chongli County in Zhangjiakou City. It starts from Yehuling (near Yehuling Fortress) in the south of Zhangbei County in the west and ends at Huapiling in Chongli in the east. The scenery on both sides of this road in Bashang Grassland is very beautiful, including grasslands, windmills, terraced fields, birch forests and other beautiful scenery.

Prairie Road is also called China’s Route 66 because of its rich and varied scenery, which means it can rival Route 66, the famous scenic drive in the United States. The highway is approximately 132.7 kilometers long and was completed in 2011. The road condition is good, and the entire journey is brand new asphalt. However, the terrain is hilly, with many ups and downs and turns, so it is not suitable for novices or vehicles with too small a displacement. When you can drive, don't drive too fast. Nowadays, roads in most areas have speed limits, and it usually takes about half a day to drive there. If you are a photographer, you need to prepare for the day.

When playing, you can enter from both sides of Yehuling and Huapiling. The Prairie Sky Road is divided into two sections: east and west. The entrance to the western section is located 500 meters north of the Yehuling exit of the eastern section. The grassland road is about 132 kilometers long, including 110 kilometers in the east and 22 kilometers in the west.

Prairie Road can be played mainly from the following aspects:

1. Mountain Road. The Prairie Sky Road is called Tianlu because the road winds along the rolling mountains. The gradient is steep and the turns are sharp. Second, most people go from Zhangbei to Chongli, and the traffic jam starts from Zhangbei, so there are fewer cars and fewer people traveling from Chongli.

Recommendation: Try to arrive in Chongli the day before, and get up early the next morning to go to Pilgrim S Road. At 9 o'clock, the light is soft, and the pilgrim's road is very beautiful. The sun is high and the light is hard, but the taste is always a little worse.

Recommendation: Be sure to bring thick clothes in places where the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. Especially those who want to watch the stars at night or take pictures of the Milky Way or star trails, it is best to wear a military coat in summer, otherwise I can't stand it.

Suggestion: The road is narrow and steep, so be sure to pay attention to driving safety. At the same time, Tianlu's ecological environment has been severely damaged in recent years.
