Teacher Zhang studied calligraphy since childhood and has a solid foundation. After joining the army, he engaged in stage design and made great progress in painting and calligraphy. During this period, I went to Shanghai to study stage art, and my theoretical level has been greatly improved. I changed my job and went back to Qihe to work in Xinhua Bookstore, so I studied painting and calligraphy in my spare time. After retirement, I write and draw at home, plant flowers and grass, and occasionally go out to visit literati and visit famous mountains and rivers. Influenced by the cultural atmosphere for a long time, he never stopped pursuing art, which made him gain a lot. The traditional Chinese painting "Autumn Rhyme of Lotus Pond" was selected for Shandong Art Education Exhibition. His calligraphy works, together with the works of Jiang Weisong and Wei Qihou, won the prize in the exhibition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Party. He was hired as the vice president of Confucius International Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute in China and a senior painter of Shandong Painting Academy. Whether writing the poetic works of Wang Wei and Du Mu or drinking the bright moon on four screens by Li Bai, he combines the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland described by literary works or historical figures, and strives to make his works superb, find another way and create new ideas with lines full of the beauty of poets' rhythm. In painting art, he often "paints with books", and on the premise of inheriting tradition and "learning from nature", he integrates some laws of calligraphy art into painting art, so that "line" and "quick face" are organically combined and dialectically unified. His "painting into the book" has increased the heavy feeling of his calligraphy art, making it more lasting appeal and tension. His "painting with books" makes his works smooth, full of new ideas, beautiful lines, soft face, vivid form and both form and spirit. Inheriting the tradition, absorbing the essence of ancient and modern famous artists, and integrating the Qi of the Yellow River and the Qi of the Mountain Plain into his creation, he formed his own artistic style.
