12 common construction skills in art design

There are many exquisite artistic designs. The following are 12 common composition skills to share with you. Welcome to reading.

Central component

Putting the subject in the center of the picture is the simplest and easiest to use, and it is also necessary for beginners. But it is also the most boring composition that annoys the audience, because the main position conforms to people's default observation field of vision, and the straightforward perception is not easy to attract extra interest.

However, if you want to express the recording perspective of daily feelings, the central composition is fine (many Japanese photographers also prefer the central composition).

Border composition

Put the main content in the frame to make it stand out in the picture.

In the case of large indoor and outdoor light, metering outdoor scenery will darken the foreground (indoor walls and windows) and form an interesting wall effect.

A boundary is not necessarily a complete thing with a definite shape. Using the angle, the visual enclosure of the eaves can also be used as a semi-enclosed frame.

Observing the scenery through the frame is equivalent to taking a photo on it and adjusting the position between you and the frame (positive edge, pitch, distance). The effect is different.

Sandwich composition

Atypical frame composition, like sandwich structure, guides the audience to a long and narrow position in the middle by clamping the left and right (or up and down) foreground, making the main body stand out.

It gives people a feeling of being suddenly enlightened, which is suitable for expressing the independent buildings in the building complex, and is often expressed by the contrast of light and shade before and after.

Tunnel composition

With the help of the depth structure of the scene and the light transition with low brightness in the near field and high brightness in the distant subject, the tunnel effect of visual space can be achieved, so that the audience can get a bright psychological feeling.

Suitable for expressing the emotional atmosphere of a single subject (quiet and distant).

Triangular synthesis

The three-layer composition with distinct levels is suitable for expressing the positional relationship of things in the scene (up, down, far, middle and near), which is universal and very easy to use. When shooting, open the auxiliary line of mobile phone to practice, which can cultivate the sense of composition.

In addition, combined with the blurring function of depth of field in later retouching, it can produce interesting effects of moving axis of toy miniature scene.

Symmetrical composition

The symmetry of the central axis divides the main body into two, bringing visual balance. Pay attention to whether the axis of symmetry is vertical or horizontal, and remember to stay upright.

Radiographic composition

Finding the vanishing point in the perspective of things in the picture, taking it as the center of gravity and closing the lines of objects and scenes can bring a picture with great visual tension and impact.

Trains are the theme that is often expressed in this way.

Triangular composition

Similarly, the picture is organized according to the perspective principle, and triangle composition is often used when shooting large high-rise buildings (groups).

It should be noted that the composition form of triangle does not require the scene to be enclosed into a complete triangle. As long as two adjacent edge elements tend to converge inward with one side as a reference, it can be considered as a triangular composition.

Diagonal composition

The pointing of the statue arm brings the elements of strength and direction, and completes the composition of the diagonal guide line of the picture.

Center+focus

Advanced combination method for comprehensive utilization of center and diagonal. The main flower in the foreground is placed in the center to bring a sense of stability, and the sloping ridge at the back increases the sense of movement of the picture and adds a sense of layering in front of the sky background.

Letter writing

Guided by the outline of letters, the scene is organized, which is suitable for outdoor scenes with obvious outline lines or indoor still life shooting.

The plate is tilted with the viewing angle to form an S-shaped composition.

And C-shaped patterning that highlights the plate-shaped edge.

Extracting the contour line in the scene is the key.

Intersection composition

The advanced technique of three-part composition divides the picture vertically and horizontally into well-shaped divisions and puts the subject (interest center) at the intersection. Although it is a simple introductory skill, it is very practical and can make the ordinary audience feel professional about the work.

Advanced again, find the four golden sections of the screen and place the main body.

Pay attention to the subtle differences between the two. Tick-tac-toe composition can be regarded as an application form to simplify the golden section composition.

The visual beauty brought by the golden section can be well integrated into other skills. Tunnel, radiation, letter formation, etc. The above mentioned subject can be further improved by setting it at the golden section point.
