What about the reflection of the photographed metal object?

Methods to prevent reflection when shooting metal objects;

1, special spray device to reduce reflection.

When shooting, spray the spray in a bright place to eliminate reflection. In cold weather, you can also aim at the subject to breathe when you open the shutter, so that the surface is foggy white, which can also eliminate the bright spots.

2. Add a polarizer to reduce reflection.

Polarizer, also called polarizer, referred to as PL mirror, is a kind of color filter. The achromatic function of polarizer is to selectively let the light that vibrates in a certain direction pass through, and it is often used to eliminate or weaken the strong reflection of non-metallic surface in color and black-and-white photography, thus eliminating or reducing the light spot.

3. Lighting

Lighting needs front, side and top, and soft light is used.

4. Background board

It is best to set the background board to all black, as simple as possible and not fancy. It should not be too close to the color of the subject, nor should it be too rich in color as the background.

Precautions before shooting metal objects:

Don't forget to wipe the object before shooting. When shooting a still life with a smooth surface, it is easy to leave fingerprints and dust on it, so wear white gloves when holding a still life when shooting. Especially some small objects with smooth and reflective surfaces, otherwise, if there are dust or fingerprints on the still life, there will be obvious stains on the photos.
