Choosing a good time, such as after 9 am or 2 pm, is a good time for me. The angle of sunlight is very comfortable, which is conducive to shooting. Because this time it is mainly used for indoor light, you should choose a good window.

Second, it is very important to communicate with models and make up.

1, communication before shooting: you should think about the subject before shooting, you should know this. Communicate your thoughts and body language to the model, making it easier for the model to express what you want. You can also play some music that the model likes when shooting, which can close the distance with the model. This will make you less constrained and behave naturally.

2. Make-up: In fact, this is a part that cannot be ignored. If you have the ability, it is best to have a makeup artist. If not, I hope you can check the makeup problems of the model before shooting, such as whether the false eyelashes are stuck firmly, whether the eyeliner is crooked and whether the foundation is too white. You cannot be too careful. Good makeup can modify many shortcomings of models.

Thirdly, it is very important to know how to use "light" and "shadow"

In fact, light is more than just playing with light and shadow. Make good use of light, light can outline the outline of the model. Make the model's face more stereoscopic.

As shown above, this is actually backlit and it is difficult to use up. Because of the angle of light, I let the model's head slightly upward, forming a light shining on her nose. In this way, the special nose contour of the whole face is very obvious, and the picture is also very three-dimensional.

The combination of limbs and light and shadow

In fact, photography is often the same as sketching. To express the three-dimensional sense of a thing, it must be expressed in white, gray and black. Gray is the transition between white and black, white is an indispensable highlight of photography, and black represents the shadow of photography. If the three are together, the picture will be more stereoscopic and natural.

Pay attention to the highlights on the nose and the highlights on the side. Because most of the films I shoot are soft films, the shadow part will not be very heavy, and the fuselage will be set before shooting to reduce the contrast and saturation of the fuselage. This will make the original picture very soft and comfortable.

Fourth, transparent eyes and emotions are very important.

It is said that the eyes are the windows of the soul, so generally speaking, we will give priority to the eyes in photography. How can I shoot transparent eyes? Many photographers have asked me. In fact, it is still inseparable from light. Of course, many people use reflectors. Maybe I'm stupid and I haven't used it.

The eyes will be more transparent at the angle of light.

Coupled with the simple color scale and sharpening eyes in the later stage, it is transparent.

It should be noted here that the use of light and shadow sometimes causes many opposite effects. For example, when the angle of the sun is not very good, it is easy to cause the reflection of eyelashes to appear on the face when the eyes look down or look down, which will be ugly. At this time, it is best to look up and have some feeling of looking up, which can directly avoid the appearance of reflection.

When shooting indoors, try to choose an environment close to white, so that the light will naturally refract each other. If the indoor color is bright, it may be reflected on the model, and the whole photo will appear color cast, which will cause great difficulties in the later stage.

Fifth, it is very important to sum up yourself after each shooting.
