Which cities have more Dink families, and Wuhan has the most?

Different from the cities, the "Dink family" in rural China is still rare, but the traditional "raising children to prevent old age". But with the development of society, many young people are developing in cities, so they choose the Dink family. Which cities have more Dink families? Let's see Bian Xiao!

"There are three kinds of unfilial, and nothing is bigger." For thousands of years, this traditional concept has been deeply rooted in the hearts of China people. However, since the 1990s, the "Dink" family that subverted this concept began to appear in major cities and gradually became a trendy lifestyle.

What is "Dink"?

Ding Ke, transliteration of English abbreviation Ding Ke, means double income without children. Strictly speaking, the standard of "Dink" is to have fertility but choose not to have children, subjectively accept and recognize their status as "Dink" and think that "Dink" is a way of life.

A social survey released by Zero Survey shows that there are about 600,000 Dink families in large and medium-sized cities in China, and nearly 70% of the respondents think that "Dink families will increase". Another latest survey shows that in Wuhan, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other big cities, nearly 20% of women aged 15-59 agree that they can get married without children, while among young and middle-aged women, 24.7% advocate not having children after marriage. In addition, Wuhan respondents have the highest awareness of "Dink", accounting for 9.9%, followed by Beijing's 8.8%. Respondents in Guangzhou and Taiyuan have the lowest awareness of "Dink", both of which are 1.2%.

About 20 years ago, when the concept of "Dink" first appeared in China, only a few young people accepted it, but most of the families who first accepted Dink were young people with high education and high income. In these families, women not only have an independent status, but also have a considerable say. It is the externality of this concept and the high-end characteristics of the earliest Dink family that lead people to form a certain "fashionable" and "trendy" impression of Dink. Times have changed, and most of the first batch of "Dinks" have reached the age of 30. Some of them have experienced the baptism of time and their mentality has changed. On the contrary, they are eager to have a child. Ms. Guan, 40, is such an "anti-dink", but she missed the best opportunity to have a baby. Recently, she can only try "test-tube baby" and expect a miracle.

Dink's Seven Abortions

Ms. Guan, a native of Wuhan, worked as a manager in a large enterprise and got married for 15 years. "My husband and I are both career-oriented people. When we got married, we agreed not to have children and be a' Dink family'. " She told reporters that their idea is simple: without the burden of children, one can concentrate on developing his career and the other can enjoy the two of us.

More than a decade ago, "Dink" was a fashionable concept, which was controversial and under great pressure from society and family. At first, Ms. and Mrs. Guan kept secrets from their parents, but after a long time, the paper couldn't hold the fire and they had to confess to their families. As expected, they met with strong opposition. Many relatives and friends don't understand them, and both parents are furious about it, but these have not shaken their determination to be "Dink".

In the second year of marriage, Ms. Guan failed in contraception and got pregnant unexpectedly. She had an abortion without hesitation. Since then, she has been pregnant with children six times and had seven abortions before and after.

"When I was pregnant for the last time, I was 36 years old and a little shaken. I hesitate to have this child. After thinking about it, I still feel that life can't be so comfortable with children. " Ms. Guan said that life without children is very relaxed and free, and the couple usually do their own things. In their spare time, they do what they like, travel to take photos and play with potted plants at home.

Middle-aged people are eager for children.

Since last year, Ms. Guan has clearly felt that her mentality is changing: "In the past, I was glad that I lived a relaxed life without the burden of children; Now when I see other people's family of three happy, I feel that I am living too lonely. "

In her view, this is also a "middle-aged crisis": "The career has reached a' bottleneck period' and the body is not as good as before. I always worry that I am old, sick and retired, and then I can only rely on my wife. I also thought about these concerns when I decided to be a Dink, but I was still young and didn't care. Now is a completely different state of mind, I just feel scared. "

After much consideration, Ms. and Mrs. Guan decided to start the plan of "making a baby", but after more than a year, their stomachs just didn't move. Because she was worried that she could not have another child, Ms. Guan began to worry. She went to the hospital for examination and found that bilateral tubal obstruction caused infertility. She turned to seek medical treatment, and the treatment effect was not good, so she finally had to give up.

A few days ago, Ms. Guan and her wife went to the hospital to extract sperm and eggs, hoping to conceive a "test-tube baby" through in vitro fertilization. But the doctor told them that their success rate of "IVF" was not high, because they had missed the best childbearing age, and Ms. Guan had many miscarriages, which was very harmful to her health.

Expert analysis

Jane, an analyst at Horizon Research Consulting Group, said that if the birth restriction is relaxed, the proportion of childless people will be only 40% at present, but due to many practical factors, the proportion in real life will be lower. Although the existence of "Dink" consciousness reflects the diversity of social fertility wishes from the side, it will also play a certain buffer role in liberalizing fertility restrictions. However, with the increase of double income, without children, there will be family relations problems, such as family inheritance and pension.

The reporter learned from Wuhan Songniao Hospital that more than 60% of the people who came to the hospital for medical treatment because of infertility were over 35 years old, among which "anti-Dink" families accounted for a considerable proportion, all because they decided not to have children in order to enjoy life when they were young, but with the growth of age, they couldn't stop.

Zhu Xiaoli, vice president of the hospital, said that the best childbearing age for women is 25 to 30 years old. After the age of 35, the fertility decreased obviously. As elderly women, they have to take more risks. The later the delivery time, the easier it is to give birth to deformed children. When "Dink" families decided to "oppose Dink", most of them had passed the best childbearing age and faced the problem of multiple births. Age and repeated abortion are important causes of infertility. Moreover, even with the help of assisted reproductive technology such as "IVF", age is the key to success. For infertile patients over 40 years old, the quality of sperm and eggs declines, and the success rate of "IVF" is relatively low.

Zhu Xiaoli reminded young couples to be cautious when choosing Dink, and parents' feelings, pension problems and psychological changes should be taken into account. With the change of living environment and the growth of age and experience, the attitude towards children will also change. This situation should be dealt with as soon as possible.
