Resume:
Jackie Chan was born in 1954. His parents met when they fled Shandong to Hong Kong. Due to the economic downturn in Hong Kong at the time, his parents could not afford the huge production costs when he was born. The female doctor who delivered his mother's baby once offered generous conditions in the hope of adopting Jackie Chan. However, since he was born in the Year of the Horse, his parents believed that he was born in an auspicious year, and they had no other children, so they rejected the female doctor's kindness and worked hard to raise enough medical expenses to take Jackie home. Since Jackie Chan was born in Hong Kong, his parents named their son Chen Gangsheng to commemorate their safe escape and the fact that they were born in Hong Kong. They live in the French Ambassador's home. Their father is the French Ambassador's cook, and their mother is a housekeeper and a fan of Peking Opera. Jackie Chan didn't like reading when he was a child. He liked fighting very much, fighting with those foreign children. Because he lived in the consulate area on the top of the mountain, almost all the people nearby were French, Americans, etc. This situation lasted until he was in the first grade of elementary school. Because he often fought and made trouble, he finished elementary school. drop out. . In addition to fighting, Jackie Chan also likes to watch martial arts movies. At that time, martial arts movies were very popular. Cao Dahua and Yu Suqiu were the most popular stars at that time. Jackie Chan admired them and wanted to go to the mountains to learn martial arts. One day, his father took Jackie Chan to the Mirador Building in Tsim Sha Tsui to visit the Peking Opera martial arts master Yu Zhanyuan. He was the father of the martial arts actress Yu Suqiu whom Jackie Chan admired. Jackie Chan saw the students here practicing diligently. , I feel very envious. He asked his father to let him practice martial arts here. As a result, Jackie Chan became a member of this group. Master Yu Zhanyuan's education method was basically strict and hard training based on old rules. To discipline children in doing things, the method of practicing Qigong is "beating and punishing". Within four days, Jackie Chan regretted it. In those early days, Jackie Chan often cried secretly at night. After his father sent him to college, he flew to the US Embassy in Australia. During the eleven long years that followed, his heart trembled. In the past ten years, his father had returned to Hong Kong to visit Jackie Chan several times. In order for Master Yu to take better care of the child, his father asked Jackie Chan to worship Master Yu Zhanyuan as his godfather. However, he did not get any advantage and instead controlled him more than others. severe.
Jackie Chan joined the China Academy of Drama in 1961. His master is the famous Peking Opera master Master Yu Zhanyuan (Yu Suqiu's father). Master Yu gave Jackie Chan a name, Yuan Lou. Other brothers and sisters are also named after the character Yuan. Daily training includes footwork, fighting styles, stunts, etc. In addition, there are movements such as stretching, splitting legs, and flipping. I get up at five o'clock in the morning and practice Qigong until twelve o'clock in the evening. In addition to practicing Qigong, they also have to do cleaning, washing dishes and other tasks. Jackie Chan grew up in nearly nineteen hours of hard training every day. Practice various exercises in the morning, and you can get some sleep while practicing leg pressing. Almost everyone sleeps with their legs crossed. After eating, they practice voice tuning or read. Reading time is nap time. They live a regular life like this every day. They are most excited every month when they are waiting for relief supplies. Dozens of children gather together to wait for people from the Red Cross to deliver relief supplies, including white rice and milk powder. , food, etc., the children queued for a long time waiting for their assigned food. Usually they eat rice in a big pot, and the girls take turns cooking it. The rice is enough to eat, but the side dishes have to be grabbed. Jackie Chan relied on his skills during the Seven Little Blessings. During a Peking Opera performance, Master Yu selected Yuen Lung (Sammo Hung), Yuen Tai, Yuen Hua, Yuan Wu, Yuan Kui, Yuen Biao and Jackie Chan to perform a Peking Opera set. The protagonist of "Seven Little Blessings". From then on, people called them the Seven Little Blessings, and Jackie Chan also received many stage performance opportunities. From then on, they continued to perform in Liyuan.
They are stationed at Liyuan Playground and perform Peking Opera for a long time. A few of them do everything in a play, like Sun Wukong causing trouble in Pansi Cave. One moment they are the witch spider spirit, the other moment they are the monkeys transformed by Sun Wukong's hands, and the next moment they are the monkeys transformed by Sun Wukong's hands. He is a heavenly soldier and a heavenly general. In short, he is busy dressing and dressing behind the scenes, and he is busy fighting the Northern faction in front of the curtain. In addition, the studio was a place they often visited. When they were young, they played child roles, extras and the like. So Jackie Chan debuted very early.
With the changes of the times, Peking Opera has also slowly declined. And Master also began to lend them out to movies as martial arts masters. Jackie Chan works as a martial arts master during the day and goes back to his master's house to sleep at night. He is now seventeen years old. The day when Jackie Chan becomes a master is coming soon. On the day of graduation, according to the usual practice, the apprentices must kneel down and kowtow to the master to thank the master for his support. . The master will give the apprentice ten strokes of the court staff as a final reminder. At Chenglong Village, Master Yu Zhanyuan knelt down, lowered his head and calmly waited for the master's court staff. Later, the master called him: "Get up! No need to kneel. Times have changed after all, and there is no need to do this anymore." Jackie Chan breathed a sigh of relief. After Jackie Chan graduated, he started working as a martial arts master. During his time as a martial arts master, his name was "Chen Yuanlong" and he specialized in being a stand-in for famous actors. People like Yue Hua, Luo Lie, Tian Feng, Gu Feng, Liu Dan, etc. all do dangerous martial arts moves. During this period, it can be said that he lived a romantic life, perhaps because he had been restricted for too long. After work, Jackie Chan enjoyed having fun, dancing, drinking, going to nightclubs, etc. Like other martial arts masters, he lived a laissez-faire life with no tomorrow. When you become a martial artist, you sell your labor and go through life and death. Unfortunately, your status is humble. Every day he waits for the director to pick someone. In order to be chosen in front of so many people, Jackie Chan often works hard to perform. Jackie Chan is often chosen by directors because he is young, nimble and adventurous. Directors are happy to use him. If there is any difficult action, "Chen Yuanlong" will come to mind. After Jackie Chan met Sammo Hung again, Hung introduced him to work. At that time, Hung signed a contract with Golden Harvest to provide stuntmen, so Jackie Chan also went to work in Golden Harvest. In 1971, Golden Harvest started filming the Bruce Lee movie "Fist of Fury", and Jackie Chan also participated in stunt work. Later, he also participated in stunt work in the Bruce Lee movie "Enter the Dragon".
When Jackie Chan was a martial artist, he met Chen Ziqiang. When Jackie Chan returned to Australia, it turned out that Chen Ziqiang was the general manager of the company newly established by "Millionaire Director" Luo Wei. He also invited Jackie Chan to return to Hong Kong to be the leading actor in a new film. This was his first real leading actor role. Luo Wei hopes to shape Jackie Chan into the second Bruce Lee. The name "Jackie Chan" was changed at that time. When "Fist of Fury" started filming in 1976, Jackie Chan wanted to inherit Bruce Lee's image. It is a pity that Jackie Chan is not suitable for Bruce Lee's interpretation method, so the box office failure is expected. However, Luo Wei continues to shoot the same type of works, such as "Shaolin Wood Man Lane", "Wind and Rain Two Meteors", "Flight over the Cirrus Mountain", etc., which have box office success. Unfortunately, distributors were afraid to release Jackie Chan's movies, and Jackie Chan became a box office poison.
Until 1978, Jackie Chan was loaned to Wu Siyuan's Siyuan Company to film "The Snake". Jackie Chan added a lot of comedy elements into the film, which was very popular with the audience. became the highest-grossing film. The blockbuster success of "Drunken Master" later made Jackie Chan's status as a superstar more stable, revealing Jackie Chan's lively and elf dynamic. After "Drunken Master" became popular, Jackie Chan officially became a director. His first two directorial works were "Laughing Fist" and "Junior Brother" both achieved good results. At this time, Golden Harvest Company noticed Jackie Chan and planned to arrange for him to go to the United States to film "The Trench", "Cannonball 1 and 2" and "Pluto" in Hollywood. However, filming abroad and under the direction of foreign directors made it impossible for him to film. Because of this, these films were not popular at the time. In 1983, he directed "The Young Master", which once again set off a craze. Later, he worked with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao on "Five Lucky Stars", "Food Truck", "Lucky Stars Shine High", "Summer Lucky Stars" and "Dragon's Heart". During this period, Jackie Chan helped Sammo Hung on the one hand, and Sammo Hung also influenced Jackie Chan to a certain extent. Therefore, the works were all in the style of the Hung family. It was not until Police Story that Jackie Chan's own style was naturally revealed. In addition to being a blockbuster in Hong Kong, this film was even more popular in Japan and won Best Director, Best Picture, and Most Popular Actor awards for Jackie Chan. After that, Jackie Chan released works such as "Brothers and Tigers" in 1987, "Plan A Sequel", "The Dragon" in 1988, "Police Story Sequel", "Miracle" in 1989, and "The Plane" in 1990. "Eagle Project" all grossed more than 30 million yuan at the box office. Of course Japan is even less so.
Jackie Chan was a niche student in the 1970s. When he was a martial arts instructor, it was when Bruce Lee was in power. Bruce Lee turned his hands into clouds and rain, creating a new trend in kung fu movies. Prussian Lee's trend swept the world. Wherever the wind touches, almost no one is immune to his influence. At that time, Kung Fu movies flooded the market, and there were countless fake Bruce Lees. The situation did not change until Bruce Lee's death. Director Luo Wei was a close friend of Bruce Lee. He was the first to ask Bruce Lee to return to Hong Kong to make a film. Coincidentally, Jackie Chan later joined Luo Wei's disciples and became Luo Wei's second cultivation target after Bruce Lee. When Luo Wei trained Jackie Chan, he only cared about molding Jackie Chan into Bruce Lee's successor and did not explore Jackie Chan's own characteristics. Of course Jackie Chan was not willing to accept Jackie Chan as a shadow warrior. He knew that he had a solid foundation of ten years. Perhaps being forced to be someone else's shadow made Jackie Chan develop his rebellious mentality towards Bruce Lee. He wanted to break Bruce Lee and his myth.
In Wu Siyuan. Under the full management of Yuan Heping, Snake-Shaped Trickster and Drunken Master emerged from their cocoon, breaking the trend of Kung Fu and breaking the rigid Bruce Lee style. Jackie Chan reversed everything about Bruce Lee, Lee's serious and unsmiling expression, his gray and humorous mischief and mischief, Lee's positive face and greatness, his relaxed life, Lee's cold and withdrawn, he is kind and approachable. Jackie Chan reversed Bruce Lee's rules and made a joke to Lee, which relaxed people's nervousness. Slowly, everyone turned to Jackie Chan and resumed looking for laughter in the movie theater. The desire to relax. Kung fu comedies gradually became a trend, moderating Bruce Lee's hyper-masculine heroic films. The first movie directed by Jackie Chan, "Junior", reversed the bloody killing scenes of hero movies and successfully unearthed thirty-six kinds of bench skills from folk martial arts. Fan skill. Skirt kick skills replace the boring and boring boxing skills. At that time, it was an important breakthrough.
In fact, as early as the 1980s, Jackie Chan had already filmed in Hollywood. At that time, he collaborated with Jose Foray and Christine DeBay on "The Trench", but the results were not very satisfactory. The subsequent "Cannonball Run" co-starred a group of American stars with Jackie Chan and Xu Guanwen. Jackie Chan only had a small role. Although the film was a hit, it did not help Americans get to know Jackie Chan. The second time I entered Hollywood was because some movies at that time had Chinese actors as actors but were shot in foreign countries. The box office success of these films made Golden Harvest hope that Jackie Chan would enter Hollywood again. They portrayed Jackie Chan as a tough guy. It's a pity that Jackie Chan is not like this at all, and the results failed again. In recent years, Jackie Chan has entered Hollywood again, but instead of making movies of foreigners, he has made movies of his own style. It seems that "Red Zone" in 1995 and "A Good Man" in 1997 all maintained Jackie Chan's own style. In 1999, "Rush Hour" attracted more attention from the American media, and Jackie Chan became the first Hong Kong movie star to enter Hollywood.

Going on the road to the leading role: In 1975, Xintiandi Company was established, signed Jackie Chan, and arranged for him to make one or two films, but the box office was dismal. Later, Chen Ziqiang joined Luo Wei's film company in Hong Kong to work. I recommended Jackie Chan to Luo Wei. Jackie Chan filmed Gu Long's works for Luo Wei, and the Shaolin series ("Shaolin Wood Man Lane") failed. Almost a year later, Wu Siyuan planned to shoot "Snakehead" and asked Luo Wei to borrow someone (Jackie Chan) to film it. Then "Drunken Master", two funny kung fu comedies, fully exposed Jackie Chan's lively and spirited dynamics.
After "Drunken Master" became popular, Jackie Chan officially became a director. His first two directorial works were "Laughing Fist" and "Junior Brother" both achieved good results. Movie: "Myth" (also known as: Mith)
This film is Jackie Chan's 2005 October -1 blockbuster, with a claimed investment of HK$160 million, is Jackie Chan's largest investment in recent years, and is directed by Tang Jili. This film is also Jackie Chan's first attempt at a costume epic style film. In the film, Jackie Chan plays two characters with different personalities from different eras, one is affectionate and the other is funny. The original little character fighting style has completely changed. Of course, the film also takes a lot of time. A lot of space is devoted to describing the love story between Jackie Chan and Kim Hee Sun.
The entire story line runs through the repeated alternation between ancient and modern times. This epic love story that spans 2000 years has very high demands on the setting. The crew also spent a lot of money to shoot scenes around the world, from the endless fields to the mysterious Angkor Wat, to the waterfall caves, and for the first time, they were allowed to enter the Terracotta Warriors and Horses for on-site shooting. The constantly changing scenes are also one of the highlights of the film.
As he gets older and has more wrinkles on his face, Jackie Chan is definitely no longer as flexible and strong as before. The film uses fantasy and ancient costumes to change the previous action and fighting methods. In the film, the "ten thousand enemies" with swords and arrows raining down on the ancient battlefield, the "flying general" with a man and a horse, and the spectacle of fighting under microgravity suspension conditions are all full of entertainment and sensory stimulation. In terms of plot, although it is suspected of imitating "Ancient and Modern War between Qin Terracotta Warriors", "The Myth" has a parallel narrative structure of ancient and modern times, cleverly transitional visual editing, "sensational" detailed foreshadowing, and tragic and masculine war scenes. Even more exquisite and elegant.
After watching "The Myth", everyone has mixed reviews and criticisms. I believe that in addition to the film itself, the mentality of the audience is also at play. Those who admire Jackie Chan's comedy fights and death-defying Hong Kong movies will probably not be satisfied. They will still think that Jackie Chan is old and relies on love dramas to cover up his shortcomings. But if you forget about "Jackie Chan", don't expect surprises and just treat it as a fusion romance movie. It is an entertainment blockbuster with elements of action, adventure, and many other elements. I believe "Myth" will satisfy you...
Qin Dynasty general Meng Yi (played by Jackie Chan) escorted North Korean princess Yu Shu (played by Kim Hee Sun) to the Qin Dynasty as a concubine. During this period, they were ambushed by the rebels, and the two of them fell into the waterfall holding hands... Archaeologist Jack (Jackie Chan) has been haunted by the same dream for many years. He is fascinated by the woman in white with an otherworldly appearance in the dream. I want to find him but I have no way to start. One day, his friend William (played by Tony Leung Ka Fai) came to invite him to participate in a project to study the mysterious floating power, and Jack agreed to go to Disha to explore the secrets together. In the temple, the coffin was hanging in mid-air. The two of them looked at it dumbfounded. William took off the gemstone on the sacrificial sandalwood, and the coffin suddenly lost its buoyancy and fell to the ground. Jack and William just escaped, but were chased by the tombkeeper. Jack accidentally fell into the rapids, but was rescued by the Indian girl Samantha. She also took him to see the eminent monk, and learned that he had a past life fate with the sword found in the temple.
The enthusiastic Samantha led Jack to dance. When the military police came to arrest Jack, everyone chased him to the mouse adhesive tape manufacturing factory. Factory building. Samantha reluctantly sent Jack back to China by boat, and asked him affectionately: "Will I see you again? Will you remember me?" Jack felt that he had seen her before, and his mind was once again drawn to the mysterious woman in his dream.
William was delighted to see that Jack had survived the catastrophe, and revealed that the research results on the gem revealed that it could resist gravity, and decided to go to the Qin Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an to find the truth. Jack hoped to regain his dream; William wanted to find out the mystery of the gem. The two brothers had a fierce quarrel over how to deal with the found cultural relics, and William insisted on taking the treasures as his own for research. At this time, William learned that the person who had been supporting him for ten years was actually Mr. Gu, who was deprived of the title of professor after being exposed by Jack for tomb robbing. The two secretly cooperated due to selfish motives.
Jack and William took a helicopter to the top of Lishan Mountain and entered the canyon of the waterfalls. There was a time tunnel inside that led to the suspended heavenly palace! Yu Shu appeared alive in front of Jack. Yu Shu, who had been waiting for thousands of years, thought that Meng Yi had kept his promise and came back to find her, and was very moved. Jack finally met the woman of his dreams, and the two vowed to stay together forever.
Mr. Gu also followed him to the Tiangong Palace and threatened William who was looking for gems at gunpoint. Jack appears and fights with the possessed William. In the chaos, William accidentally pries out the gem on the mechanism. The heavenly palace loses its buoyancy. Thousands of terracotta warriors and horses fall from the sky. Mercury gushes out.
