Wedding preparation process
The significance of a wedding is to gain social recognition and blessings, prevent bigamy, help newlyweds adapt to new social roles and requirements, and prepare to assume social responsibilities. The following is the wedding preparation process I collected, welcome to check it out!
1. Preparation
1. The bride, accompanied by the bridesmaids, puts on makeup (can be at home, at a wedding photo studio or at a beauty shop). At the same time, the groom gets up and prepares red envelopes (about 5) for the day. ), the groom and the best man connected the car and the motorcade and started to put on the float.
2. The motorcade sets off to the bride’s house. (The motorcade usually starts with the camera car or the leader's car, then the float, and then the motorcade.) The bride's home should be ready to receive the team and cover the horse gourd 10 minutes before the motorcade arrives (generally, everything within 30 meters of the home must be covered) .
3. When the convoy arrives at the bride’s house, the groom calls the door. Usually the bride’s sisters or friends make things difficult for the groom and then opens the door. The groom should promptly give the troublemaker a red envelope to express his gratitude.
4. After the groom sees the bride, he takes photos and videos, then comes out and calls dad and mom, and then receives a big red envelope! (Usually the natal family gives 999 yuan, and the husband’s family gives 1001 yuan). Then the newlyweds and the groomsmen and bridesmaids eat dumplings. There must be an even number of dumplings left, and then they take photos with the natal family.
2. Arriving at the groom’s home
The motorcade set off from the natal home to the new home. Before departure, the bride's sister must take two red basins (inside are mirrors, combs, special steamed buns, etc.). After the motorcade arrived, the new home arranged for people to set off firecrackers at the door to celebrate. Then the groom's sister (if you haven't found an unmarried female friend, that's fine) takes the basin from the bride's sister. The groom whose floor is not high should carry the bride upstairs, but those who are on a high floor are exempted from the obligation (I enjoyed this treatment, hehe). After entering, the bride called her father and mother and received a big red envelope! Then the bride's brothers helped nail the door curtain, and the groom asked for a red envelope. Then the newlyweds took some photos and videos in the new house, and set off from the new house to the hotel about 30-40 minutes later.
3. Arrival at the hotel
Generally, the best man opens the door. The groom appears first, and then helps the bride out according to the photography arrangements. Then the friends and relatives at the door can bombard the newlyweds. Ceremonies such as stepping on balloons, releasing doves, releasing balloons, scattering flower petals or colored paper can be held at the door. Then, surrounded by people, the newlyweds go to the rest room to rest, and everyone takes their seats.
IV. Wedding Ceremony
Since each host has his own style, you can communicate with the host according to your own ideas. The best ritual is quick. There should be fewer games and fewer pleasantries. The sooner the meal is served, the happier the guests will be. It’s up to the newcomers to grasp the specific issues. After the ceremony, it usually ends with a glass of wine, pouring a champagne tower, or cutting a cake, etc. Then the newlyweds change clothes, the wedding banquet starts, and then the newlyweds come out to toast, light cigarettes and grill candies (usually the leaders of both parties - the distinguished guests - the elders of both parties - relatives - colleagues - friends and classmates).
5. Wedding Banquet
As long as the last digit of the wedding banquet time is 8, it is auspicious. It should be noted that the time written on the wedding invitation must be written in advance, otherwise some guests will arrive "on time" according to the time on the wedding invitation, which will affect the "attendance rate" of the wedding banquet. After the wedding banquet begins, the bride and groom need to toast table by table.
6. Ending
Relatives and friends started to make noise in the wedding room and finally left. The wedding process is over.

Christian Wedding
Western wedding banquets are usually held after the wedding ceremony, and there will be a large wedding cake during the wedding banquet. Western wedding traditions include toasting the couple, being the first couple to dance, and cutting the wedding cake.
The bride will throw the bouquet in her hand to all the unmarried women present, and the woman who receives the bouquet is considered to be the next one to get married. For the sake of fairness, in 2012 it was developed that the groom throws the bride's garter to unmarried men, and the man who catches it is considered to be the next person to get married.
In recent years, gay weddings have begun in some countries.
