Tianjin Yangliuqing Painting Society, founded in 1958, is famous for researching, creating and publishing Yangliuqing woodblock New Year pictures, with a history of more than 300 years. Under the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture, it is an art book publishing unit approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication and a cultural relics management unit recognized by National Cultural Heritage Administration. The painting club has specialized departments such as folk art development and management, book publishing and distribution, and has four business departments: Yangliuqing New Year Picture Art Company, Book Editorial Department, New Year Picture Editorial Department and Marketing Department. The bustling streets in Jinmen, where the social and cultural street is located, include Ning Cuixuan, Cultural Street Yangliuqing Painting Shop and changchun road Yangliuqing Painting Shop.

It consists of Yangliuqing Painting Society, Tianjin Rong Baozhai and Tianjin Deyu Palace Studio. The Yangliuqing Woodblock New Year Pictures produced by the Painting Society established in the late Ming Dynasty have a history of more than 300 years, and they are unique among China folk New Year Pictures because of their combination of block printing and hand painting. Since the establishment of the Society, more than 3,000 kinds of Yangliuqing New Year pictures have been collected, and about 400 and 500 kinds have been reproduced and published. At the same time, it publishes offset New Year pictures, nave pictures and other paintings and photography works, and has various kinds of picture books and art books, among which "Children of China" won the excellent book award of 1988 National Children's Book Award. At present, the business organizations include the president, editor-in-chief, Quyi Department, New Year Picture Publishing Department, Book Publishing Department, news photo agency and editorial department of Tianjin Pictorial. Successive social leaders include Liu Zengrui, Song Tingjie, Sheng Yujie, Fu Yongquan, Zhang Yutang, Liu Xipeng and Wang Xuanshu. Current President Li Zhiqiang, Vice Presidents Liu Jiazhi, Shao Wenjin and Sun Baofa.
