Realization skills of college students' writing
0 1. Small M on the blacklist
In the second half of last year, Teacher T asked me if I had time to do private work and help her run a new media platform.
At that time, children were born less than half a year ago, and there were many things to raise children, and there was always stable cooperation at work. I really don't have the energy to do extra things.
So, I searched in the circle of friends and recommended two candidates to her.
Zhou Xiao, I haven't dealt much, but my reply is very efficient and decisive;
Xiao M, the speed of replying to me is not so fast, and there have been intersections at work before.
When I communicated with Teacher T, both of them made it very clear that she should make her own choice.
However, I would like to add a note that I have worked with Xiao M before, and I feel that she is not bad.
According to my evaluation, teacher T gives priority to little M. ..
Now I really regret not having a bowl of water when I recommended it.
Because teacher T gave me feedback yesterday that the cooperation with Xiao M had been terminated. ..
There is no need to say hello to me, but she thinks that what Xiao M has done has risen to the level of "cheating", so she must remind me to be cautious in cooperating with Xiao M in the future.
It turns out that Xiao M not only doesn't take the initiative in his work, but also needs teacher T to follow up and supervise every time, and there are many mistakes and omissions. Recently, he even linked the official account of competitor WeChat with his own tweet.
From the beginning to the end, I want to shake my nest:
(1) Don't recommend partners to others casually, and be absolutely objective when recommending multiple candidates as a last resort.
(2) Doing sideline business should also be professional, and the circle is very small. Don't slander your reputation.
02. Pick up my source of cooperation.
My interpersonal circle is not wide, but 80% to 90% of the cooperation is basically recommended by acquaintances.
I must admit that I didn't do everything 100% beautifully because of my limited energy and ability.
But when I deal with my work, I usually divide it into these three situations:
Second, in my professional field, such as writing. I seldom defended my point of view before.
But later, I found that if I don't work hard for things within my major, the final effect is likely to be "lose-lose"
I don't want to do it myself, and my partners are not satisfied with the effect.
With this in mind, I will try my best to get more creative points when writing the contract.
I will stick to my idea unless what the other party says is very reasonable.
Second, things that are not completely certain.
Some people will have an "interview mentality" when they cooperate, that is, they will perform themselves perfectly. Obviously, they are only 60% sure, but they should show 120% sure, for fear of missing the opportunity.
I used to do the same thing when I applied for a job. In order to get a job, I promise I will do well.
But after freelancing, I won't be so full. What is uncertain is uncertain.
I will still provide Pl on A, B and C, but I will definitely make it clear that I don't have much confidence in this matter, and I will put in 100% efforts and try to find a way.
But if my partner has other ideas, I am willing to try. Managing the expectations of others is very important in cooperation.
The third category, things that you are not good at at at all.
Many people think that doing what they are not good at is called "jumping out of the comfort zone" and that it is a great thing.
But I must say that "jumping out of the comfort zone" is wrong in itself.
If you blindly do something that spans a long distance, you will feel confused and anxious, and the people you cooperate with will also take great risks.
You must never promise anything you are not good at at at all. If you want to try it, try it in private. Don't let the collaborators take risks and end up in ruin.
If you are not good at something, you can not only refuse, but also use yourself as a bridge to help others cooperate.
This is also a way to broaden your network resources.
03. Carefully maintain personal brand.
Now everyone is talking about "building a personal brand". Personal brand, ability is very important, character is more important! Your personality is good, and your personal brand is your ability lever, which can help you link to rich resources;
If the character is not good, the personal brand will also amplify the negative news and speed up the spread, so that people inside and outside the circle can know.
But the importance of personality does not mean to create 100% perfect personal design. This is not right. It is easy for people to collapse because of a little thing.
A good personal brand must be true.
As I said before, things within my ability are never vague, and things outside my ability are never boasted.
To build a personal brand, your ability can have shortcomings and weaknesses, but your character must not have problems, such as carelessness and unreliability.
Ability can be improved slowly and resources can be accumulated bit by bit, but don't stand in your way of making money because of your attitude and personality.
