Ferdinando Shaner
Ferdinando Sinar began to study literature, philosophy and art history at Palermo University in A.D. 1960, and took photos at the same time. He entered the field of fashion photography in the late1980s, engaged in pioneering work, and brought fashion to the streets of his hometown in Sicily. After spending the first 22 years in Sicily, he became an expert on Sicilian lifestyle and spent many years documenting the culture and fashion of the island. By recording sicilian's life, he honed his practice, which provided a perfect foundation for photographers to create dramatic fashion images immersed in Italian tradition.
